 poor FM!
It would be cool, with the releases of the upcoming Hobbit films, if they would re-screen the LotR films in theaters! Like one giant Middle-Earth fest

*gaspeth* You didn't see LOTR in theater?
Oh, and I would love to see the Matrix in theaters, I was a tad young when the first one came out, so I didn't really see any of them until much later...
Constantine would be another fun one to see in theaters.

Yes, aren't I a poor, pitiable miss unfortunate?
That would be so cool if they would do that Eru! Hmm, I wonder if there is a petition somewhere...

I just thought of another one.
A movie that I would absolutely love to see in theaters is The Wizard of Oz. How wonderful would that be?

#1 and #2 on my list would probably be FotR and TT. I never got to see those in theaters. It would also be fun to see RotK again in theaters.
#3 would definitely be PotO, but with a good audience. Actually, I would love a private screening. I don't think I could hold my temper if some idiot started whispering, or coughing, or had to get up and go to the bathroom during my favorite movie.
#4, CotBP. I admit, I never got to see this one in theaters, because I was so scared the skeletons would give me nightmares and I wouldn't be able to sleep. It sort of struck me as a horror movie from the previews.

rebecca, because it's my favourite film ever; and house of flying daggers because it's so extraordinarily beautiful and i think it'd look amazing on the big screen.

Oh, dear. I don't think I could ever pick one.... yes...yes, I could. I know you said we couldn't pick LOTR but I have a very good reason for doing so....
The Fellowship pf the Ring - I never saw this in the cinema. LOTR meant nothing to me back in 2001, so I missed the opportunity to witness this full scale. Hearing the Fellowship theme pounding out of the speakers, feeling the ground shake as the cave troll tries to pummel Frodo. *sigh*
I was very, very lucky that I got to see FotR in the cinema - like you, in 2001 I had never heard of LotR and nor did I care. It was only when TTT came out that I began to get into it and in 2004 I managed to see FotR in the cinema as part of a film festival. It really was incredible to see it on the big screen, and I came out in tears from the sheer immensity from it. I really hope you get to see it one day!
For me, I would love to see Gladiator in the cinema, the music and all, would be so powerful. And Donnie Darko, and also The Crow. Both of those films make such an impact on me when I'm sat watching them on my tv, so to see them in the cinema would be amazing.

The LOTR trilogy. Duuuuuuh. Even though the first time I ever saw them was the EEs, on a huge (comparatively) screen with surround sound, I'm sure it was about 1/20th of the experience in a theater.
Spider-Man 2. Because that's my favorite Spidey movie, it doesn't make me cry like #3 does and it has a better ending than #1.
X2: X-Men United. Because I want to see Nightcrawler and Rogue on the big screen. Not to mention, it would be an excuse to get white streaks in my bangs - I'd go "in costume". XD
The Lion King. Even though I know that's dorky...it's one of my favorite Disney movies.
Elizabethtown. Because I just love it waaaaaay too much.
National Treasure - my 8th grade history teacher said the part where the treasure room lights up is absolutely incredible on a big screen, and I want to see if she's right. Plus, Riley's too awesome for words.
Beauty and the Beast. This movie came out the year I was born, and I really connect with Belle (being a bookworm and generally misunderstood and whatnot) so I'd love to see this in theaters.
