Taur, you might want to check this out:

We don't have Merlin here in Germany either, but these streaming links work just fine :).

Thank you so much for that! :D I've been spending the past couple of weeks frantically catching up.

I agree with Nurr that Morgana didn't know what was happening. I got the impression that she thought her whole meeting with Morgause was just another dream.

Morgana herself is a fascinating character. I didn't like her at first, but I warmed up to her and I'm going to miss her. She was an important part of their little circle. Her deviousness (when it was for a good cause) was a nice counter-balance to Arthur's, Merlin's, and Gwen's righteousness. :)

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER AND WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT AN ETERNITY FOR THE NEXT SEASON! :explode:

Sorry for the Capslock, I'm just so in love with that finale.

I mean really? We have to wait 9 more months now? SUCH a good finale. The Merlin/Arthur interaction was pretty awesome, seeing Arthur see Merlin as more than his servant. Well, verbalizing it at least. And Colin Morgan is BRILLIANT. His expressions....oh gosh. Between this episode and the last one, he can really get you wanting to cry with him.

LOLSPOILERS

Colin Morgan is such a ridiculously talented actor, it makes me a little disgusted. Look at, for instance, when his father said, "goodnight, son." You completely believed that Colin's heart was absolutely swelling. The very next scene, you believed his utter devastation. As an actor, I just wanted to kill him for make the rest of us look bad. :P

ANYWAY. Yes. The Arthur/Merlin banter was priceless.
"You still think I'm arrogant?"
"Not arrogant. Supercilious."
"That's a big word, Merlin. You sure you know what that means?"
"Condescending."
"Very good, Merlin."
"Patronizing."
"It doesn't quite mean that."
"These are all things that describe you."

"I know it's hard for you to understand my feelings, but...I really care about that armor."

Honestly, I think the banter/relationship is the best part of the show. They could probably make an episode that is nothing but them arguing for an hour, and I would watch it with bated breath.

Tar, did I ever tell you how much I love you for expressing my exact feelings on Arthur/Merlin in a much better way than I ever could?! :)

I almost died from laughing at Arthur's facial expression at Merlin's words "I know it's hard for you to understand my feelings, but..."

Oh, and I agree about Colin's acting skills. I particularly love the way he seems to be about to say something, then thinks about it again and finally says it. Like in the "goodnight, son" scene Tar mentioned. I was just speechless. How can one single person be so ridiculously talented!

Bradley definitely has the best comedic timing/facials of the cast. Colin has him beat in the dramatic scenes, though. They're just so perfect on screen together, it's sick.

Hahaha, I laughed so hard at all of those. The ABSOLUTE best moments ever.

But I have to say, best inflection ever goes to Bradley James for:
"Merlin, chances are I'm going to DIE."
"Yeah. Yeah, you probably would if I wasn't there."
"...right."
"Do you know how many times I've had to save your royal backside?"
"Well at least you got your sense of humor back."

I just felt I should share this with you all. iTunes is selling the first season of Merlin for $20. You can't get any complete seasons for that! Let alone UK shows. I'm so pumped right now. Those episodes are going to be on my computer by the end of tomorrow, I can tell you. :teehee:

Well, they have to make up for the fact that they don't sell the actual DVDs for America. I was just researching this the other day. And I was UPSET.

The name's Lancelot, I breakdance a lot
Rolled up in my caddie to Camelot,
Home girl hit me up, click send!

Oh my gosh, this song is just hilarious and the clips were perfect, you're right Nurr.

Mostly of Arthur's expressions.

Does she wanna marry him?
I hope not, I hope it's my imagination,
'Cuz I'd be crushed if she really likes him.

I could not help but think of Spamalot at that line.

His name is Lancelot
And in tight pants a lot
He likes to dance a lot
You know you do!
