I just finished re-reading the book (I hadn't read it since 4th grade) and I cannot wait until it comes out in theaters! It's going to be so good!

Really? That would be awesome! I'm probably going to see it the day it comes out. By watching previews it looks like it is going to be very close to the book.

We ordered tickets today to see it Dec. 9th! I'm so excited!

I bought my tickets on tuesday for the 9th! My sister and I are going right after school.
My friend moved to California this summer because her dad got a job with Walden Media. He works in marketing, so my friend got all this promo stuff. She sent a bunch of it to me, and it arrived in my mailbox today I got a black long-sleeved t-shirt with Peter's shield on it, a tote bag, 3 ginormous posters (2 of the main logo: Aslan with the other characters surrounding him, and 1 of Lucy and the lamp post), a few promo DVDs, a bunch of small promo posters, random promo booklets, and some educator's guides.
I gave a bunch of the stuff to my brothers, because obviously I don't need it, but I'm keeping the shirt, bag, Lucy poster, and cutting pictures out of the other things.
This movie will be so pretty. The graphics will probably be even better than LotR, because even since then there's been more advances in technology and stuff.
After watching the creatures videos online again, I want to learn weaponry or something and go work for WETA. I wouldn't even have to do that. I would be happy just giving coffee to the WETA people and sweeping sawdust off the floor.

I'm going to try to buy tickets for the 9th next week, as early as possible. My family is convinced that it'll be no prob to just GO to it on the 9th without pre-purchasing tickets, but I want to be SURE of my spot. I plan to go to the 12:45 showing, which is just after I get off work that day. I've heard they're planning on doing Prince Caspian, and possibly a few of the others... I've also heard that they're not planning on doing The Horse and His Boy, probably because of the talking horses, but we'll see... I really want them to though; its my favorite
