I hated it so much! It had no deapth in it. They didnt focus on the relationships enough. I thought it was poorly written, and down right disturbing....

I agree. It seemed that they focused way too much on the violence and not enough on...well, everything else! I mean, yeah, we get it, the aliens look cool, but come on! Do you really have to state that point every other scene in the movie?

Over all, I thought the movie was okay. But I wouldn't pay to buy it or rent it again.

I haven't seen any of the MI movies, and I'm not to fond of War of the Worlds, I don't think it was worth paying to see it in the cinema; more like a rental

I absolutly love movies like WotW, I thought it was very good. I love Tom Cruise in his movies, but I don't care for him in real life. Lol I guess i'm a little out of place in this thread, seeing that I liked the movie

Actually I'm not much of a Tom Cruise fan actuallly. I thought personally Steven Spielbreg did a great job but Tom Cruise ruined it. Speilberg and Cruise was good in Minority Report but not War of the Worlds.

I actually refuse to see this movie, not because I don't like Sci-Fi movies, but because I seriously dislike Tom Cruise (I think he's a psycho in real life).
Dakota Fanning is really cute though.

I hate Dakota Fanning, but I generally like Tom Cruise's acting.
Either way, the film wasn't made any better for me..

I dont like TC either. I thought he was really good in Minority report tho. I found WOTW desterbing! Creepy! The whole blood-sucking-freeky-lightning riding-people disinigrating-aliens.... scary.

Wow, the only reason I enjoyed it so much is because I went to of my friends and we were laughing throughout the whole movie it was so ridiculous that it was funny.

ok the WHOLE MOVIE was GREAT until the end. no movie can be good if you have to INFER the ending!! what kind of a STUPID DUMB ending was that?? i liked the movie, just not the ending. and even so i must admit that everything in the movie got PRETTY DARN TEDIOUS what with all the 'escape' nonsense. nice computerized graphics, tho. verryyy nice graphics on the aliens. but i hated the movie.
