Is anyone else excited about this movie?

It will be released in Australia on the 14th December and I can't wait! I didn't think that it warranted being remade once again but, having seen the trailers, am feeling that this could be a good one! :-D

It looks really good. How many Pete Jackson remakes is this now? 2,3...?

Ha ha ha...yeah, Jack Black. Has anyone read the new Newsweek? It's got a HUGE spread on King Kong. It's amazing. It talks about how PJ and Fran and Phillipa were "stalking" Jack to see if he was a nice guy (one b/c their kids were obsessed with School of Rock) and to see if was the kind of guy they wanted. It was pretty funny. And then they talked about Andy doing King Kong, and how he "broke the rules" and went off to Rwanda to study gorillas. It's quite an interesting piece. I recommend you all read it.

Oh, it's an American magazine. I don't know how to explain it. But I found the article I was talking about. It's really good and you all should read it!

Is Andy really in King Kong? Cool!!! I didn't know that but now I really have to see it!! I'm really interested in that movie and I believe Pete do that very well. Lets hope so because some remakes of Kong are really bad. But I trust Pete

All the critics in my city loved the movie! They rated it 5 stars, but I can tell I wanna see it. Pete for sure has outdone himself again. King Kong is one of my favorite classics(even though remakes have been bad).

--by the way anybody noticed he lost 70lbs?
He said he was feeling unwell and tired. So he got better but is STILL feeling tired from all the work. I first saw him slim at the George Lucas Tribute Party. I was shocked! First thing that came to mind: IS THAT PETE OF '05!!??!!

EDIT by Miremiel: Spoiler ahead.

I saw King Kong yesterday!!! And it was so awesome!!! Pete really have done it very well. And I think it's maybe better than the first one because in Pete's movie Kong is not just a terrible monster!! Actually he is quite cute with the girl. And he is angry just when someone is trying to hurt him or the girl. And I think it's only natural or what do you think? And in the end I cried the last 10 minutes because it was so sad and unfair. How they can kill an innocent creature? But it was as I said absolutely awesome movie!!! :)

Spoilers, spoilers, OR. ;)

I saw it last... uh, wednesday. It was an incredibly movie. Pete's done it again. A huge mix of cute, funny, gross, creepy, scary, sad, romantic and happy movie. Heh, my friend and I were in this commenting mood, so we kept saying things like "Monkey mad" and "Me monkey. You Ann."
But yeah, much recommended. :D

That's funny, you really don't know what it is? Alright, first time for everything. Spoiler means there will be something that might spoil it for you like I haven't seen the movie yet(classics, I have.) and I don't want anybody telling me what's gonna happen. A spoiler is when somebody tells you something about that particular ----movie in this case.

Don't worry about it, OneRing. :) Just gotta let the others know about including a spoiler in your post, then it's all fine. :D
