Have to agreee with Montana on this one--now I've had time to let it sink in, I can remember more of what it was like, you know? I didn't cry, either--I think because I knew what was going to happen. I think a lot of people need to see it, though, it <I>was</I> pure art.

my sister wants to see this movie. I'm going to wait until it comes to DVD. Who cares if someone is gay if they are happy and if they are not hurting anyone who cares. My boyfriend and I got some guy friends that are gay and they are very nice people. I know we all got our own likes and dislikes.

Ok, people, try not to get too much into discussing the controversy of the subject matter of the film...please try to discuss the film itself!

If you think it looks dumb, please express that opinion as "I don't think it looks like a good movie BECAUSE...[the subject matter doesn't appeal to me, I don't like Ang Lee films, whatever...]" instead of just using a generic "Yuck." Just want to keep things polite here!

Yeah, I haven't seen it, probably won't. Parents wouldn't let me anyway. But even though the subject matter, as many are people are saying, it looks like ART. Like...I don't know, I may not agree with it but I'm sure I would cry. Actually, I know I would. Because it's just that type, that brings out such emotions....

I would really really love to see this film. Besides from the fact that I love both Jake and Heath I am very passionate about gay issues and gay rights since my sister is gay, so I think this is a great film to come out in times like these. Don't know if I'll be able to go see it while it's still playing in theater, and if not I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD.

It's not so much that it's about two gay cowboys. Actually, that's not really the point of it. It's a love story. If you ignored the fact that they are both male, and saw them as two people who fell in love, you wouldn't think of it as "disgusting" or "gay cowboys making out." The fact that they are gay is second to the classic love story. But then the fact that they are gay, especially in Wyoming and Texas (no offense to anyone from there, but it's sadly the truth) is huge. Trying to deal with that and their love is what makes this film so beautiful.

Moving slightly away from what the film involves, has anyone heard any of the soundtrack? I downloaded a few songs the other day, I especially like "Riding Horses" and "Wings". Anyone else heard it?

It looks like I might go see it with my friends I don't know what it's rated here though...if it's R in the states, then it's probably 14A here. So that works.
