No no no!!!
How can you make me choose!
*weeps*
For me as I havent seen the other two it's between GOF, LLW, and KK, KK had fantastic scnes and really amazing special effects.
LLW was awesome and amazing views and it's a classic.
And GOF, well come on...it's Harry Potter!

I vote LLW, but it was close between that and KoH. Maybe I should have voted KoH, but LLW was just really well done. Lived up to my expectations. Mind you, KoH exceeded my expectations. (I didnt have many....)

Those movies would have been my favs for 2005, so its kinda hard to pick just one.

I've 4/6 on the list...and I can't choose. Either Narnia or Batman. I think Narnia...

Goblet of Fire, because I was waiting for it for so long! But LWW was better than GoF in my opinion, so I dunno... but I chose GoF :)

Oh gosh this is a hard one.

I'll have to say Revenge of the Sith.

But Narnia, GoF, Batman are also up there on my list.

Órelindë, just out of curiosity, what was your favorite 2005 movie?

A History Of Violence, Walk the Line and Munich. I see too many movies. :P

Here Here, AHoV and Walk the Line were amazing movies but since neither were on the list I choose King Kong. Though KoH was quite good. King Kong was breath-taking, Peter Jackson went above and beyond what I had hoped to see with the movie. He even made me cry at the end for the poor beast. Also Flight Plan and GoF were good as well :-D

I'm 4 out of 6. I did not like Kingdom of Heaven and I have not seen King Kong. But if I had seen King Kong, I would have had in the category of best movies of 2006.
However, I did love all the other films that you listed. Batman Begins and Revenge of the Sith are duking it out in the #1 spot. I couldn't decide between those two if my life depended on it. I've been a Batman fan as long as I can remember and this movie was by far the best (leave it to the Brits to create brilliance). And Revenge Of The Sith was by far the most emotionally powerful Star Wars movie ever (though the originals are the best).
As for the other two, I just loved them so much! They rocked. Two of my favourite books turned into cinematic magic. Loved 'em.
Of those not listed, Brokeback Mountain and Everything Is Illuminated are my favourites for Best Movie of 2005....beating out ROTS and BB.

First Narnia. GOB was a bit disappointing for me, it was too short and we missed a lot of the story line. ROTS isn't totally my thing, it is too 'lightsabery' .

So NARNIA was definately number one!
