I applaud you, dear Rumil.
Samurai Champloo has actually made me grin a couple of times. And Mugen was, at first, very annoying but he grew on me, as did Fuu, and Jinn didn't matter because Jinn's Jinn.

Ooh!!! I love anime!!! My favorites are Full Metal Alchemist, Fruit's Basket, and Chrno Crusade (Although that doesn't really count because I've only read the manga) Also, I heard that some people like Teen Titans. I really like that show too, but it's not really an anime. Its an amarican cartoon that is drawn in an anime style, but it's not japanese. But its still great!

Teen Titans is okay....it certainly isn't Japanese. But has alot of popularity in Japan due to Puffy AmiYumi.

Hee. I am definently a rabid Anime fan. I love how the shows have so much more depth then some shows in America.
Inuyasha, Case Closed, Full Metal Alchemist, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z....
All great animes.

Let's list some of the my top animes....
1. FullMetal Alchemist --- I saw this anime before Adult Swim or FUNimation licensed it so I've seen the whole series while as of now, they are airing episodes 30-ish. EXCELLENT series and the ending will absolutely SHOCK you. Very dark anime. I give it a 10/10 [Japanese sub-wise]
2. AIR --- This anime isn't really available except if you purchase it in Japan and hope that it has English subtitles. It's not licensed by any American company as of yet [thank goodness. Dubs make my ears bleed]. It's so sad, but very cute at the beginning. The stories are beautiful and the plot is great --- it'll confuse the heck outta you though. 10/10
3. Neon Genesis Evangelion --- This one is for older viewers and one that do not mind any religious shows. It involves Christianity and bits of Jewish, I believe. The plot seems like an ol' regular robot anime at the beginning but it evolves as it goes along and it's WONDERFULLY complicated. Also very dark. 10/10
Those are the only top three that are set in stone.

I'm not all that up to date with my anime. The things I like are the older Manga stuff.
Akira - Simply put one of the greatst movies ever made. Animated or live action. This is just simply awesome. The graphic novels are pretty awesome too.
Some of my other faves include, Battle Angel Alita, Winds of Amnesia, Vampire Hunter D, Urutsikidoji, Devil Man, Ghost in the Shell, Blood: The Last Vampire.
I also grew up with Battle of the Planets/G-Force and I'd love to be able to get my hands on the original Japanese version. Nowhere near as cutesy from what I've been led to believe. And certainly no 7-Zark-7. Bleh.

I like the drawing style, but I don't particularly care for some of what they do with it.
