I finally saw phantom and I a even went to the library and then I re-newed it and then when I returned it I went to walmart and bought it Walmart rocks. BTW why do loads of people call the phantom erik?

OMG. I saw it for the first time Friday at a sleepover with my friends for the sole purpose of getting me to see it...I am completely obsessed. It was so amazing!!! I absolutely loved it, the music was amazing, it was all perfect...

I loved that movie so much! the first time i saw it, i hated it *sorry to all u who loved it the first time and still do* buti saw it again and i loved it! i got the soundtrack and i sing the songs all the time!

phantom of the opera is a-maz-ing!!! i completely fall in love with the phantom and raoul every time i watch it - raoul is so sweet and genuine and the phantom is just so darn sexy!
gerard butler has the most amazing voice, and he's the most emotive singer i've ever heard - i swear i stop breathing at least seven times in music of the night, it's just so beautiful and powerful. that top note is exquisite.
the stage show's great, but it has nothing on the film.

you're so right - the masquerade is incredible. i love the way they colour-coded it (other than christine, raoul and the phantom, everyone is in white, back, silver and gold) so the scene sort of reads as a complete visual picture.
gerard butler's not just hot for 40-something - he's hot full stop! older guys are so much sexier. raoul's still nice as well though - he's like a disney prince brought to life!

i dunno why but i didn't like Raoul that much. Another good part is when Raoul, christine, and the phantom are all in his lair and thet're all singing different songs, but they all fit together as one. it's just so cool to listen to!!! _________________ "Have i gone mad?"

First off, there seriously needs to be more Raoul-fans on this forum AND.
Second off, I saw bits of PotO last night on TV on HBO.  Awesome!
I absolutely love the scene at the graveyard where Christine and Phanny are singing different lyrics to the Angel of Music theme.

I love it when Christine and the Phantom are singing to "Angel of Music" in the Graveyard scene. So powerful
The movie is awesome but the live show is tons better in my wee humble opinion. Saw the musical live for the first time in 1993 and for the second time in 1995. PotO has been such a huge part of my life _________________
