billy elliot (for the millionth time). cried bucketloads, as always - it's so beautiful the way his dad sacrifices his pride to help him, and i completely understand what dance means to billy. it's such a brilliant film and jamie bell is incredible (as are the rest of the cast). plus, it has the best soundtrack ever.

I watched Waynes World and Euro Trip with my friend last night. They were hilarious.

The Prestige, one of the rare movies that I can't say anything bad about. The acting was amazing and the plot complicated without being confusing.

just watched 'the red shoes' and i still can't believe the guy who plays ivan (robert helpmann) is also the child catcher in chitty chitty bang bang. fantastic film though - the dancing is incredible (especially impressive from leonide massine who was 53 and came out of retirement for the film)

The New World - I didn't really like it.
(a) Nothing much really happened
(b), nobody really said anything, it was mostly just muttering in the background
and (c), I don't like classical music
'Twas very pretty, though. There are definately some scenes I would love to get some screencaps of.
