"Flicka".
It was so-so; nothing to rave over... but still pretty good. I might have enjoyed it more had my friend not kept throwing popcorn at me the whole time. *sigh*

Last night I watched 'Silent Hill'(love it!) and 'An American Haunting'(you have to watch it carefully because you can miss some important things)

I love all the Powell and Pressburger films. The end is sad though.
yeah, it is absolutely brilliant. the only other powell and pressburger i've seen is black narcissus, and i loved that one too.
last night i watched brief encounter (while eating half a tub of ice cream) and i absolutely love it (you may be able to guess - i adore old films). it's so incredibly sad but there are some beautiful lines and the end is just so poignant. still can't make my mind up about eric though - not sure whether to trust him or not.

RotK EE...straight through, all 4 hours. All by myself, too Needed cheering up, was going through LotR withdrawal, hadn't seen RotK in ages.
Cried as usual when the Rohirrim start yelling "Deeeeeeaaaaaaaaath!" and when Pippin says "I didn't think it would end like this." Wondered whether I was crying because of the actual content or because these scenes bring me back to all the other times I've cried during them. Didn't cry at the end--just teared up--which surprised me, because it usually sets me off bawling...
Found myself identifying with Eowyn and feeling very sorry for her when she's falling for/rebuffed by Aragorn.

Anyway.
"Arsenic & Old Lace". Cary Grant is unbelievable in this movie. An it's my Halloween tradtion.

I'm also on major LotR withdrawal here. I've already decided with my younger brother that we're going to have our fourth LotR EE marathon when I get back to Sweden

Elizabeth I (part 2) on DVD last night. Was good, but I wish I'd seen part 1.

"Turtles Can Fly"
Oh man... one of the saddest movies ever. Its a film from Iraq, and its set on when Iraq went to war with the US. It was focused on a group of children in a village... I recommend it even though it is a "downer" movie.

I recently watched Frankenstein on Tv. The thing is I don't know if it was a TV show or a movie.......
It was too long to be a TV show but it didn't have an ending. o.O

we watched some of that for Social Studies... "And then he hit me like THIS!" That was the only funny part.
The Illusionist
The second movie in a row (The last was The Prestige) that left me stunned. It wasn't as flashy and the twist wasn't as amazing as in The Prestige, but I love it anyways.
