i loved that movie! i really wish quidditch was longer and that all the weasley's were in it. they should have put winky and dobby in it. i also wish that the maze was more than just it enclosing on you.

"Beaux bâtons" is French for "beautiful sticks." The "bâtons" part is presumably a reference to magical wands. The French word for "magic wand" is "baguette magique", which would make most people in the English-speaking world think of a loaf of bread, so it's not surprising Rowling didn't use it.

:)

And I quite agree, I wouldn't've asked for a better Rita Skeeter.

I LOVED that movie. I was dissapointed with the amount of the Quidditch World Cup they cut out. Also the Dursley's, I was so looknig forward to seeing their living getting trashed like it did the books, but oh well. I was happy with the first two tasks and the Yule Ball, omg I loved it, it so amazing. The third task, no that I'm quite dissapointed with. I kinda missed all the creatures that were in the maze from the boook, but they kinda made up for that with the maze constatly trying to kill people and having a mind of it's own. I'm really happy with the castiing decisions in this movie. Rita Skeeter was amazing, and Lord Voldemort was brilliant, I think Ralph Fiennes did a brilliant job.

I can't wait for the DVD either it's suppose to come out on March 7. One will have one disc, with just the movie and the other will have two discs. I just can't wait. It comes out in time for my birthday, so if I'm lucky I could get it.
