It's so weird seeing 'em... I'm hoping it doesn't change too much... Katara looks WAY different, it freaks me out.

Amazing?!? This was insaaaanely goood!! Still in AWE. They've really taken it up a notch. Katara was AWESOME. I loved this episode. I gotta see it again. Be back later.

I think Katara's scene was the best part. But I also loved the scene where Zuko confronts Azula about why she gave him the credit. That scene was absolutely CHILLING.

I was also amazed at how much had happened in between episodes. Zuko and Mai sorta caught me offguard.

Azula definitely scared me in that scene, Kit; you can definitely count on her to look out for herself in the end. And we finally saw Ozai! For some reason I pictured him older. I really hope we get some insight on what happened to Ursa in this book.

Best part is we get all new episodes for 10 straight weeks! HUzzah!!

Ozai was a disappointment, I wanted him to look more severe, strict, daunting----he looked like a good king, but we know his ruthlessness especially in "Zuko Alone". And I hope we DO get to know about Ursa in this book, it's been bothering me for ages!!!


And is it me, or was there Pirates of the Caribbean music in this episode?!!?

ok i saw it! it was amazing! too bad aang lost his glider! that thing was cool! all thier moves for bending have gotten alot cooler!
i pictured ozai being older and more intimidating i guess. he didn't look mean enough. umm i couldn't tell about the music. what part?
man that stinks. do they show avatar only on Friday nights? i can't watch it then. . . i'll have to tape them every Friday for 10 weeks!

That was pretty good....And I have to say, I'm glad Zuko didn't completely ruin his hair: he still has it all, its just in a tie. Maybe, one of these days, the tie will come undone...Long live Zuko's emo-hair!

Like veryone else, I thought Ozai looked really young and not mean. It was a bit of a dissapointment.

I'm very upset that Aang lost his glider. I loved that glider.......

i know! the glider was so cool. sakka still has his normal hair, right? i can't get over that fact Aang has hair. . .

Zuko really needs to keep his hair OUT, not UP. lol

Sokka has his normal hair style, but he has MORE hair and I think he's cuter with it.

I don't mind Zuko's hair---ponytail and all because it's very true to the chinese culture.

And I agree, the bending has gotten 10x better.

The Mai/Zuko----it just bothers me. It bothers me <i>alot</i>.
I do miss the Glider.... but it's very symbolic that it's not all fun and games anymore, the plot has gotten more serious and darker, and they can't just travel the world and be silly and try to learn elemental bending, they need to literally <i>save the world</i>.

I love the way they have begun the last season. It started with a surprisingly dark episode, really very adult in many ways, I don't think the kiddies would understand it. But by the end, part of the darkness is resolved. I mean, I was wondering if Aang was going to be seriously depressed for the entire duration of the season.
And now on to episode two, and while the plot is more desperate than in the last two seasons, some of the lightness of the show is back and it's really Avatar again.
By the way, Katara's anger at her father was one of the most well done moments yet, I think. In the whole series. It sounded almost like the actress was ad libbing a bit; it was so natural. Katara's always very dignified and fairly composed just by nature, and this is the first time she loses it. I thought it was great.

The second episode, the Gaang dresses up as Fire Nation people and Aang ends up going to school but he causes some trouble so they're on the run away from 'em.
