I just turned Secret Window on. My family and I are all watching it right now. We decided to have a close to midnight scarey movie night tonight. We even have candy adn pop corn to go allong with it. lol Secret Window is so totally the scariest movie I have ever seen. There is no way I am going to sleep tonight. I usaly don't go for scarey movies though. However when I want to be scared this one is my favorite to watch. JD is such a great actor!

yesterday i watched to kill a mockingbird and laurence olivier's hamlet and they were both fantastic. hamlet wasn't the tragic figure i was expecting (he never seemed truly heartbroken, but rather seemed to be enjoying the theatricality of pondering life's big questions and pretending to be mad) but i thought that was an interesting way of playing him.

^That IS a good movie!
Anyway, I watched "Bewitched".
Great show. I loved the TV show, and the movie was just as good. Steve Carrell as Uncle Arthur?! BRILLIANT. And Michael Caine!

Possibly my favourite Powell-Pressburger film. I wish Robert Livesy had been in more films rather than on the stage.
Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye - James Cagney as a gangster.

i don't know that i'd say it's my favourite (i think moira shearer's dancing may just win the red shoes that accolade) but i do love it, and roger livesey is wonderful.
