The ridiculous thing is that I didn't and she had already seen the movie before. Well, I did, only after she nearly jumped into my lap each time. We both think it might be the theatre . . . but who knows. Ha ha ha.

^LOL.
And when I came back the second time to see it, I completely forgot about those parts and jumped 3 feet in the air again. *shakes head*
FINALLY I learned, and the third time I sat still and laughed at everyone else.

^Ha ha ha. I know what you mean. I laugh at the people who freak out. Ha ha ha.
I forgot to say that my favourite part in the book is when Lucy meets Mr. Tumnus at the lamp post. I haven't read the book in a while but I can remember how vivid that part of the book was. Like when I read it, I'm there. It's hard to explain. So, I was hoping and praying that they'd get that perfect (in my mind). And it was just like when I saw Fellowship of the Ring for the first time and you first see Hobbition. It was perfect. And thus I entered the world of Narnia myself.

*cough*
To your perspective, mabye. I, however, beg to differ completely.
It was an exteremly well done movie, but it wouldn't even exist if it weren't for the book. Plus, I felt the characters were very 21st Century-Americanized. They enforced the lesson that every movie now has of "family."
Example:
Professor Kirke-- "You're a family, aren't you? You might just start acting like one."
So there's that whole thing going on through the film of, "Oh, we have to come back together as family and stop bickering so we can defeat all of evil on our own."
There really wasn't anything like that in the book. They didn't fight half as much as they do in the film.

I agree with WML, the books weren't that good, they were a bit boring, and they sounded like they were written for four year olds, and there was no twists or anything unexpected. But I loved the movie, it made it seem less 2-D, if you know what I mean.
