Yeah, I do wanna see it again also. I've only seen it twice. but it was such a long time ago.
last time I saw it I was in a dark, dark room..like around midnight. But luckily I wasnt by myself cuz then all those demons and Satan would have freaked me out.

I've only seen it once, around a year ago, with my mom.
Whoops--I misread what you said, TrueNarnian. Instead of reading "all those demons and Satan," I read "all those demons and Santa," and it took me a little while to realize my mistake--I was trying to figure out what was so freaking about Santa.

I saw it...two years ago, I think. Maybe one. I can't remember. It was a good movie, very well done. Satan was kinda freaky, though.

I saw it, and actually sort of liked it. It didn't make my top movies list, but I didn't hate it either.
Things I Liked
1. The fact that satan was played by a woman. Uncliche and awesome.
2. The brutality, which was very real to life.
3. The agony and horror of it all, nothing to laugh at.
4. Jim Caviezel. Uber-awesome actor there, I like him best for his movie "Frequency".
5. The giant tear-drop, great affect.
Things I Didn't Like
1. The fact that he was nude after the resurrection. Whattheheck?
2. The ahem, bits of Mel Gibson biasness. [won't go into detail here]
3. The subtitles.
A lot of people said they were hysterical upon finished this movie, but I didn't really cry at all. I was just very, thought provoked and serious afterwards.

^ ditto! All non-Swedish films and TV shows have subtitles here (we don't dub) so I'm used to them since birth basically lol

I didna like that movie... the whole thing was basically Jesus being tortured and crucified... though I'm not a Christian, I think they should have went a bit more into it before they took him in... (I might not make any sense, because I watched it a couple of years ago...) And it was too graphic, which made it slightly fake-ish.

Well, the whole plot for the movie was of Jesus's sacrifice. if they showed a bit more before they took him, the movie would have been so long and seemed like it was about 2 different stories and not just his sacrifice.
I didnt think it was too graphic.
and the story of Salvation is my favorite story in the whole Bible, reason why I like it lots.

Well 1 - 2 hours of watching his sacrifice was a bit much.

It looked fake-ish, Haldir? From what I heard (and from what I researched), they toned down the violence/graphicness for the movie.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add in my last post:
The whole movie doesnt really revolve around him being crucified on the Cross (if thats what you meant, Haldir) because the first hour of the movie and such shows Jesus being put on trial before Pilate and such. that was about maybe more than half of the movie then. they only really showed him being mocked and tormented on the cross for about half-hour or so.

^I missed the actual trial... As I said before, I had to leave after 20 mins or so because the movie made me sick. How was the trial? More dialogue than graphic violence there?

Um, as I recall (like I said earlier, it's been at least a year since I watched it), the trial itself had a considerable amount of talking (compared to other sections of the movie), but then when he was sent for a flogging, that was, to me, the most brutal/worst part in the movie. That's when I got closest to being sick.

If it's where the whip ripped pieces of flesh off his back I saw bits of it.. the first two minutes, before I had to leave the movie... gah... it's been three years since I watched it and my stomach is turning at the thought....
Well, no need for me to keep talking about the graphic-ness of the movie I suppose.
*strolls out to throw up*
