Yeah, of course I know the anatomy of a marshmellow, lol, what do you take me for! 
And aye, there is only one reason why Bonham carter is given the parts of Burton's movies... her brilliance of course!! You should tell your mom that!!! She has the looks and a beautiful name... I want that name... Eä Bonham Carter..., pretty aint it?
Hey Mobo... *waves* I didn't come up with Burtonesque... I believe it was the bright ethelfleda who has abandoned the thread again...
I wished I could take all of you to see the movie, that'd be great. I'm not sure my friends can go as crazy as I over the movie... they don't swoon over the combination... an a-u trip to see sweeney todd would be awesome. my sister will refuse to go because of the blood and gore, and my friends will refuse to go because it's a musical, so i'm not sure who i'm going to drag along. ah well, i've got a while to think about it. _________________ <center>

Yeah, I know what you mean about the gore in SH. I don't have a problem with it myself. In fact the more the better (if it's a TB/JD film, it's usually more tasteful and for a reason, most horror films rely on the gore and nothing else to carry the film). Yes, it is cheesy.. although I think of it as more over-the-top. That blood is way to red. 
Yes, he did do the Corpse Bride. You should try and watch NBC.

I've just looked on the official site and it's says that is an R for graphic bloody violence, so under 17's need to be with an adult.  Which I suppose isn't too bad... wonder what it will be over here?

you're right there. The gore is more tasteful in their films...  however strange that sounds lol ok, that's a way to think of it. Over-the-top sounds a little better than cheesy... espesially because it strikes me as the over-the-topiness of it was done on purpose.
with Halloween just around the bend a lot of networks are going to be playing Corpse Bride (in fact I think here in a few weeks ABC Family will be... or maybe it was TBS... either way I'll have to remember to tape it. )

Ohh I want to see Corpse Bride... I hope I can find it on TV here sometime closer to Halloween!!

I finally watched the trailer! I love Helena Bonham Carter!!! Why did we see so little of Alan Rickman... he's Alan Rickman after all!!! As you might alredy know, I was scared only after watching the bits in the trailer, but the singing helped me through it!!

I'm really looking forward to it. I've been keeping up on all the reviews. I'll probably see it the week it comes out if I can.
The use of colors looks great.
I actually got to see a preview before the previews were on TV because I was doing a Neilsen survey. Depp's singing was chilling and amazing. So excited!

I saw Sweeney Todd today!
It was bloody awesome.
The singing was amazing.
The side boy and girl were a little weak, but they weren't in it very much so it didn't matter.
Everyone had great singing abilities and Bonham Carter was a lot of fun.
Beautifully filmed. Extremely creative.
I don't think I have to say that Johnny Depp was amazing...

i just got back from seeing it. goood movie. the singing was awesome, the actors played the characters sooo well....i love helena and she is great as mrs. lovett. i do have to agree that joanna and antoney were alittle week and there are afew other things that wern't up to my standards but all together it's such a good movie.

Depp's singing was chilling and hypnotizing. It really drew me in. It wasn't broadway style. Some people have described it as being rocker broadway, but I don't know if that is a very good way of describing it. It was really good though.

Rocker Broadway.. very interesting!!
I can't wait to see it!! Vut what about human meatpies?? *sigh* I know what it's about and I'm seeing it mostly for the actors and the singing and the kitsch and the Burton but I hope I can enjoy the story too...
I'll have to wait to see it too.. hopefully not as long time as JF but probably...
