@ Ana: Aye, I enjoyed the posts for DH 1 immensely, especially the solid black ones with a single character's face on them. Those were intense. These are interesting, but I'm not sure if I like the rugged look on all of them. Have you seen Ron's? The poor bloke always gets the worst photos.
@ Eä: Tickets have gone on sale here as well, but I haven't gotten around to buying them. I suppose I'll do that today before they're all snapped up. All I can say is I'm happy not to be a Londoner, because that premiere is going to be insane.

No, I've only seen the one with Harry in front and Hermione and Ron a little bit behind. Their faces look kinda scrunchy and weird... @Eä: They're having a marathon here as well! I'd love to go, but I'm not sure I'll find anyone to go with. I don't really think it'll be all that popular, as most people aren't too keen on spending 21 hours in a movie theater

I like the idea of marathons but perhaps not the entire HP-series.. But actually, the theatre was more than half booked already when I checked (because yes, I did check ) and it's is still almost a month til kick off!!

Haha I totally had to go check again now. Still almost 600 seats left I just told my friend though and she totally wants to come if she doesn't have to work, so I might actually be doing this. One thing is certain, it will be a loooong night. But also kind of cool I think. At least it will be if there isn't a whole lot of people

Sounds like you'll get to pick good seats then. So is it all in one day?

It starts in the afternoon on the 26th and then runs through the night. With breaks it'll be 21 hours total

A few local cinemas are doing a marathon here as well starting at 4:30 am the day before and leading up until midnight. I was convinced that it would be an awesome experience [and I still think it would be], but then I looked at the price and decided I'd watch them at home. Two announcement, by the way: 1) a new DH 2 trailer is going to be released today [not sure of the time], and 2) J.K. Rowling has announced the title of her new project, Pottermore. If you go to MuggleNet there are links to the teaser site and her YouTube page that has a countdown to the "big reveal".

Found the new trailer! http://trailers.apple.com/movies/wb/har ... 2_480p.movLooks pretty epic. I brought this up last time but no one seemed to notice it (I feel so loved...) but the scene where Harry drags Voldemort off a cliff, I think that's a dream sequence. Or an expansion of the King's Cross scene.

That looks ridiculously awesome. I just hope the movie can live up to the trailers! Dream sequence sounds legit, Caunion So I just checked the seating on the marathon, and even though there are still 500+ seats left, almost the entire middle area is filled. Like, it's insane. By now one either has to sit in one of the first three rows, which makes your neck hurt from all the looking up you have to do, or off to the sides, which isn't ideal either. It's better than nothing though. I'm still really surprised so many seats have been taken. I wonder how many of those people will last the night...

Yay for new trailer. And I believe I commented on your.. observation earlier.. or perhaps I only thought I did. But I truly hope you're right that it's a dream.. otherwise they need a very good explanation to put it in there!

Snape is do damn sexy.
If I were in charge of who gets to go up or down after this life, JKR wouldn't make it past first base for killing him off.

This is a fan-made poster. I've absolutely no idea who made it, but I thought it was so beautiful I wanted to share it with you guys. Also, this is what happens when the people who make posters really care about the topic in question (as opposed to the idiots who made the official posters for 7.2)

Oh, that's beautiful! And very heartwrenching...reminds me that I'll probably be wailing through the entire end of the movie up until the epilogue. And then I'll lol. I've got tickets to the midnight premiere and am quite excited I coerced my sister and a friend to go with me! People! Huzzah! Now I'm vaguely considering wearing my Gryffindor scarf, Wheel of Time t-shirt, and Evenstar pendant. Just to confuse people.

Aww now I want to go to the midnight premiere too, hearing about all sorts of people who've got tickets for it (halfway through this sentence I realized the other people were on tumblr ) And yes, DO! People will be like "what's up with that one?"

I love that poster! So pretty. And I read some spoilers on MuggleNet saying that the whole Harry-pushes-Voldy-off-a-cliff wasn't a dream sequence. Don't throw tomatoes at me! But the new trailer looks completely awesome. So epic!

Beautiful poster, Ana! I've seen it around the web in a few places, and I completely agree with you about the poster situation! [I'm hoping a lengthy Prince's Tale in the actual film will make up for that. *fingers crossed*]
@ Harthad: I saw the same thing. Without giving too much away I think I can safely say that the change won't annoy people as much as previous film changes have. Although I am wondering how they get back up after falling from the cliff . . .
Also, Pottermore anyone? JKR made the announcement, and it looks intriguing. I've put my email down on the website to receive more info. We shall see come October it seems.
