Oh, what movies do I want to see?

PotC 2: Dead Man's Chest
Cars
Marie-Antoinette (if it's not R; it has the potential for me to not see it if it's too violent and sensual)

I don't know much about this year's movies, so the list will most likely grow as time goes by.

I wanted to see V for Vendetta simply because I love Natalie Portman, but the Wachowski brothers are awful sell-outs :annoyed2:

I've recently added Tristan & Isolde-looks good

NOOOOO!!! I FORGOT BEOWULF AND GRENDEL!

What is this Beowulf movie about, and when is it released? Is it based on the original story?

The Beowulf movie is based on the epic poem "Beowulf" one of Tolkien's inspirations. The movie was shot on location in Iceland and employs few CGI or special effect spiels so it will be very realistic. As for the plot, it will be tightly based around the original story but with a main focus on the Beowulf and Grendel segment, though they will also have the battle with Grendel's mother and the death of Beowulf.
Depending on when they wrap up post production the film should come out in late 2006 or early 2007.
Gerard Butler is playing Beowulf!! :D
