Oh yes! I definantly agree with that! I guess that would mean any of its sequels would be made into movies to like Rebel Angels and whatever the 3rd one turns out to be called.

Discworld (by Terry Pratchet) would be nice...But they'd probably ruin it...

It may have been mentioned before, but I'd like to see Tomorrow When the War Began, and all it's sequels (well, maybe not all of them, but at least the first one) made into movies. I'm reallly quite surprised that they haven't been made yet...

I don't know if this counts, but I wanted Pride and Prejudice with a different cast. I was think Orlando Bloom for Mr.Darcy--British,wealthy,handsome, quiet..that's Bloom, lol
And I also wanted maybe Anthony Hopkins for Mr.Bennet. And the wonderful actress Cate B. for Elizabeth's mom, perhaps. That'd be awesome.

Let's see. I'd like the Shannara books by Terry Brooks made into movies as well as some of Frank Peretti's books and Ted Dekker's books. I also read a book recently by author Robert Lupinoli called Come's a Horseman that I thought would make a good movie. I learned recently that it actually is being made into a movie.

I agree that The Song of the Lioness would be a cool movie!
I'd like to see "Raider's Tide" as a film. I think it would be easy to be true to the book - it's not all that long, it's interesting and it has a lot of stuff that would work well visually, like the raid by the scots, and the fairs. The main character is unconvential in quite a few ways (as is her sister) so they're easy to identify with from a modern perspective. It has amusing characters, the historical setting would be cool, and it has the sort of suspense that works well on screen - chases, attacks, flaming arrows...
Also, I think that both "Death in Kashmir" and "Death in the Andamans" by M M Kaye would work well as films. Interesting, scenic settings, they're humorous, have strong imagery I think would come across well on screen, and a lot of suspense. And they're reasonable who-dun-its, too. You'd just have to use their oiginal titles... I'm not sure about Kashmir, but the other one was once called "Night on the Island" which sounds so much better!

same. I'm on the Wishsong of Shannara and I think they'd have some admirable special effects if they did make them into movies, especially with the Mord Wraiths and Skull Bearers
I'd like to see the Dragonlance books made into movies. I am a DL fanatic

I can't wait until all the Narnia books are made into movies. I'm mad at them because they skipped the Magicians Nephew though. I think the Thief Lord would make a good movie too.

I saw on Ted Dekker's site that they're making Thr3e into a movie!

As it was said above, I'd love for the entire Chronicles of Narnia to be made into movies. Aside from that, I'd like for a Hobbit movie; the Tears of Artamon, by Sarah Ash into a movie; and moving into Japanese graphic novels, Hellsing to be made into a live-action movie.

A couple other books I'd add to my list would be ' The Truth-Teller's Tale', by Sharon Shinn, and ' The Will of the Empress', also by Tamora Pierce.

The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon! I've no doubt it'll be made into a movie someday. I just hope they do a superb job of it.

Hm...I have a few in mind of remakes, but I don't wanna share them because I'm looking forward to being a director/screen play writer/actress. I'm trying to pursue in the Entertainment business, but I don't know if I'll reach it. lol. I really do wanna be a director though.

I would go into a happy coma if one of her books was made into a movie. She is one of the best authors ever. Ever. Ever ever.
A book called Diamond Throne would make a good movie.
