Hmm, after coming back here, I find new interesting things!
Now, about the film, I'm sensing something very bad is going to happen:
I don't like the idea of Susan/Caspian, and bringing back the White Witch is IN- credible in the negative way. Besides, turning Susan into an action kick-ass hot Hollywood babe is just...
And all the millions of battles, I remember that there were really few in the book.
I'm a purist, so to all these changes I say...NO.
I wanna kill the genius who thought of Susan/Caspian I hope they don't turn them into ''Queen Wonderful'' and ''Prince Charming''.
Well, I can expect well the Princess and Prince Charming thingy from Disney, after Enchanted... There can't be something worse (no offence to who likes Enchanted, I like it, too, but the whole old ''Prince-Princess''... )

Actually, in the book the White Witch does technically come back. She's in the form of a hag, I believe. Therefore it's not totally off the mark for them to include her somewhat, especially if it's in a way that makes more sense to viewers. The Witch is a bit un-kill-able, it seems - she's back again in The Silver Chair as queen of the underworld place. So don't get too worked up about having her in it, cause it does have some precedent
Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again...it's not especially viable to have a real Susan/Caspian pairing because they never see each other again after this. I'm anticipating that it really doesn't get too serious - and I mean, come on, if you were Susan wouldn't you maybe just be making eyes the slightest little bit at Caspian? He's rather cute

The hag, I thought, was a follower. And they MENCIONED about resurrecting her. Yes she comes back in Silver Chair, but only mencioned in Caspian.
As long as they don't make that a big plot,I'm fine. After all, Jadis is my all-time favourite villain.I find her elegant and powerfull. And so beautiful.
I like the names I called them: ''Queen Wonderful'' and ''Prince Charming'' LOL Maybe I'll use them in the future. But don't worry, it will be a nice nickname. Nothing to bash them. I like them a lot.
I can't see myself as Susan, cause I'm too busy staring at the Narnia creatures. And eyeing Peter and Edmund
I don't see Ben Barnes as Caspian, not to say I find attractive. Not my type. Besides he's not how I pictured Caspian :shudders:

I was never quite clear about whether the hag was actually her, or whether they were in the middle of a process that would lead to actually resurrecting the Witch, but I know it's one of the two, so even resurrecting her isn't completely and totally off the mark. Though I tend more toward being non-purist than purist, and therefore I'm more on the side of the filmmakers. I trust them to make good changes

As long as they don't try to do the film in a way to teenagers, and not to family, Disney lovers, book lovers...
Being traumasized about High School Musical...
Boo to it. It's one of the worst things out of Disney
(sorry if someone here likes it)
I think im more excpecting the future Disney films: Frog Princess, Wall.E,...
Is there a thread about future Disney films?

About the Zac Efron thing....
Okay, TT over reacted. As soon as I read Melda's post, I wrote that, and didn't even read the part where she mentioned it was a joke. TT has learned her lesson - read before typing.
And, PD, why would you ever expect that?

Resurrecting Jardis is the LEAST of my worries. And agrred with Melda - she is totally there anyways. The whole Susan - Caspian thing is like driving me nuts. And it bothers me enough to consider not even watching the stupid thing I just hope hope HOPE that they kick Susan out as quickly as possible. Oh and a better looking Caspian I could with

Well you know peeps.... I'd LOVE to be able to say that Susan/Caspian kiss was of friendship and not mutual attraction but it looks like it may well be.... he's a guy she's a girl... you get the picture.
No matter if it works in the film, or it makes sense you have 2 people, opposite sex, both nice looking, similar age, thrown together.... the point is, it didn't happen in the books, and you'd think by now film maker's would realise, adding a romance to a film which wasn't in the original novel - bad idea.
But I wouldn't NOT go and see it just for this reason. I'll cross my arms and fume when *it* or anything like *it* happens, but I won't let *it* stop me from seeing what promises to be, if nothing else a pretty decent film.

As long as they don't make the love story like of the Princess movie,it's alright. I don't want Narnia to end up
''Snow White and the seven dwarfs: Narnia version'': With all the necesary: Sweet, brave Snow White, a bunch of little warrior dwarfes, the evil Queen and King, the old hag, cute talking animals and of course Prince Charming! [/i] (exclusive:now he has a name!)
Or maybe other film... [/i]
Burn them all at the stake, I say.Down with Suspian! [/i]

^LOL
Call me a sucker for good looking guys, but I think Ben Barnes is cuuuute. Haha
Ok, my ignorance is showing since I haven't read the books (yet) and I only just saw LWW for the first time a few days ago. Is there something (however ill-fated) between Lucy and Caspian further down the road? I haven't been subjected to much Narnia info, but even I know Susan/Caspian isn't... um... canon?

Yeah, there's never a romance between Caspian and either of the Pevensie girls. And I agree, Ben Barnes is *definitely* cute. However adolescently immature it makes me sound

Here's a pic in a spanish page that I found:

Now another Disney film could be good with them besides Snow White...I know!
Beauty and the Beast!

Another thing that's kinda bothering me about Susan is the fact she definitely seems to be using eye-makeup. Which kinda doesn't suit but... *shrugs*
