He's too tall, compared to her, but maybe he's standing on a box, I don't know :?

I'm just not sure I like that they seem to be making Susan into the sterotypical female action character of films these days.
I hope they keep Lucy as pure and innocent and yet she still can obviously do what is asked of her.

That's the same way I feel. Specially Susan. Her change would be very out of character. From logic, smart, unsure about darings, they turn her into the typical girl from today's movies: actiony, beautiful, more rebel than the boy, and more.
I,of course, like to see strong, independant women, but Susan is already strong in the way Lewis describes her. And Lion,Witch,Wardrobe she was perfect. Why the change? The one more prepared for being adventurous is Lucy, but I want her to be pure and innocent. And here they are gonna make her use the dagger. And in the book, besides being very few fightings, the girls didn't do too much of that. They followed Aslan, like always, and I want them like that. Not crazy war-lovers.
Then the anti-Narnia would call them Mary-Sues.

People that make movies like to throw in a little 'romance', even if it doesn't fit, even if it'll never be brought up again.
LOL at that picture- she looks a foot shorter than him!
Also, looking at pictures of Lucy/Georgie- she's already starting to look like the "older Lucy" at the end of LWW, who was played by her older sister. Don't know if the other three will look like their "older" selves as they age, but I think Georgie will. She's gonna be gorgeous

That's possibly part of the problem. When C.S Lewis wrote Narnia, there were not too many fantasty novels around, and in that day and age, women still weren't thought of as fighters, so in his books it is the men who do most of the fighting.
Presumably, in this day and age, that isn't going to look very well on the screen, but if it ws written well, and they scriptwriters actually allowed the audience to see that both Susan and Lucy are strong and brave in their own right, it wouldn't matter.

I couldn't have say it better. There are a lot of heroines who don't phisically fight but are very strong in their way, and I bow to those girls, because you don't need to weild a sword to be strong or brave. Our own book-Arwen shows that (and maybe ROTK-Arwen and TTT-Arwen

Thank you. I suppose, ultimately though we really will have to wait and see how they handle Susan's character and what exactly happens between her and Caspian. I can imagine all sorts of looks that might be made between the two when they first meet.. but there could also be nothing, and the developing attraction is not too obvious... or too un-Susan-ish.

The last isn't meant to be offensive, just a funny thought.
And while they waltz, Lucy sings one of the most lovable and famous love songs ever...the beauty and the Beast...

All of you are lucky. In Spain PC comes in July. You'll tell me how's ther movie, kay?
I just watched the news. And YES, they kiss. At the end of the film.Anna just said it.She went red.
this film will be just like snow white, beauty and the beast and Narnia combined. I'm in fear of the result.
PD! Happy to see you again!

^ It doesn't come out until June 26th in the UK.
Hmm... end of the film might be good actually... it could be a goodbye kiss and perhaps a sign of gratitude and maybe a little bit of affection.

But what if there's something more?
If they change Voyage? I hope not.
The kiss at the end of the film is already un-original and a bit cliché. And still...images of Disney keep crossing in my head: someday my prince will come...
But then again, I'm a hopeless romantic, so maybe I'll end up liking the pairing, and then If I don't like the way its presented, 2 things:
1)It's AU (alternative universe), so the whole thing is un-cannon, in my book.
2) Well, for something there exists imagination, ¿right? And then fanart,fanfics...
I can change. Just remember BATB:
There may be something there that wasn't there before...

I was also refering to the ''lovebirds'' by the song:
In the book, before, it wasn't, but now it is in th movie.
Now a Narnia-BATB parody would be hilarious
