Oh, I forgot to mention this, but I've got a book about the making of the movie. It's actually a really great, detailed book, with lots of pictures. The Dwarfs look AMAZING, and so does Trufflehunter and the Fauns and Centaurs and things like that. If anyone wants me to scan in some pictures I can do that.

Oh yes! I would love to see that!
Random thinking, remember that when the first film was premiered, there where alot of controversies by the religious groups because of the religious references in the film?
In PC, we know that they plan to resurrect Jadis.BRING BACK TO LIFE A WITCH. More controversy because they would call that a reference for satanism.Imagine that: ''Don't let your children watch Prince Caspian because it shows them satanism.'' -
Really...
The same with Frog Princess, because the film will have a little of voodoo.
They always say that Disney is satanic...wow

There's a difference there, though - unless they've majorly screwed up the plot, it's the bad guys attempting to resurrect the witch. That doesn't say "Kids, become satanistic!" to me. If it were the good guys, then we'd have a problem. It all depends on the context.

Why would bringing back a witch even be Satanistic/Satanic in the first place? Witches do not worship Satan as he is a Christian symbol and witches don't adhere to the Christian religion. That's like saying a "a Hindu doesn't believe in Allah so he/she must be Buddhist"!
Anywho, I'm really excited to see Prince Caspian. We have tickets for sometime in late June or early July (it doesn't really open here until then)!

You know that there are people who love to create trouble and discussion, even if their point makes no sense. It's ridiculous, but they never silence. You don't know that The Princess and the Frog, is getting more controversy.
In USA it premiers 16 may. IN Spain 1 July. You lucky!

No, but I think the thing is that Narnia is well known as a Christian allegory, and C.S. Lewis is well known as a Christian writer, therefore a lot of Christian parents would highly not appreciate the things that resurrecting a witch suggests. To be honest, I wouldn't either.
*smiles angelically and steers topic off religion*
I get to see it friday evening! Our whole family is going and I'm super hyped. I'm also going to be happy to find out the answers to niggling things like Susan/Caspian and the like I've been scouring the newspaper, but there's nothing in it yet. Hopefully there'll be review Friday, when it's out.

I like to think that maybe he's under a spell in the pic, maybe by the hag or the Witch. And when the conjure is almost done(maybe the prince has to give his own blood? His hand has a cut) the Pevensies rush in and breaks the spell and fight the hag, Nikabrik and the were-wolf.
I don't think that Caspian is doing it by himself, because that would be contrary to the book.

Which ones? I have a couple pictures of Trumpkin and Nikabrik, but they're quite large.
As to that picture...I think you're right, Fae. Caspian wouldn't want to bring back the Witch of his own volition - he's got to be under some kind of control, or it doesn't make any sense.

I don't know...The Last Battle will probably be done, er, last, and you never know what will happen in that time. I mean, if VERY worst comes to worst, maybe Georgie's sister who was in tLtWtW can do it. I'm not inclined to worry about it now, anyway - it's so far away.
Yeah, I'm actually a bit looking forward to that. I mean, I can definitely see it happening; Peter's been High King of Narnia before, and Caspian's just starting.
I has no money...therefore no fun movie books. *dejection* Cash would be good...

*FAINTS*
I went on a field trip today (homeschool style) to the Dallas World Aquarium. And, as we were walking to get there, I got a shot of an AMAZING poster.

I was quite happy.

I also don't like the fact that Peter and Caspian fight, but oh well, the film's done...
They should have hire me for script and creative-license. XD
Then the movie would have been less catastrophic and more loyal to the book.
