What a WONDERFUL way to go to bed! *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* He's just SOOOOOOOOO amazing. :P

DUDE. YOU. WENT. TO. A. SW. CONVENTION?!!! :swoon:

I am officially the most jealous person right now. I would sell my soul basically to go to one of those. XD I'll never forget when I saw the ORIGINAL Star Wars on the BIG SCREEN! Yeah. The freakin' big screen. :P Noooo, I'm not THAT old. ;) There was a re-release thing....and my dad took me. Changed my life. I have since idolized Obi Wan, Yoda and Luke. :P

ANYway....I just watched "Arsenic & Old Lace". It's a Halloween tradition I started a few years ago. :P Cary Grant PWNS ALL! I usually watch "Wait Until Dark" as well, but I don't own it....and I didn't have time to go rent it. *tear* But this movie is HANDS down my favourite Cary Grant film! :P SOOO brilliant!

Ooh, he is amazing and much much more.

Well it was only a little local convention, I posted a thread in the Your Life section complete with pics if you're interested. :D Man, I remember when my eldest brother took me and my brother to watch A New Hope in the cinema as well. I remember wondering why I was being taken, as it looked like "Star Trek" XD. Totally changed my life as well. I'd always loved old classic films (the old Universal horrors and the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes'), but I really, really got into films after that. :D The day we saw a New Hope was also the first time I had a KFC meal. :D :D And then I went out and collected every type of model possible. There was this little weird-guys hang out shop, Forbidden Planet, where I spent hours and hours looking round for Star Wars stuff. I had a Christmas list 4 pages long that year. I never did get my remote controlled AT-AT for Christmas though. :-( XD Gah, the memories.

"There is a happy place far, far away!" XD I love the film so much, damn, I didn't think to watch that last night. :teehee: Cary Grant is really at his best in this one, and the double takes are to perfection. :D

^ meloves cary grant too. :swoon:

just watched penny serenade. i was meant to be cleaning, but i made the fatal mistake of turning the telly on. the channel it turned onto was showing penny serenade, and as soon as i saw cary grant, all thought of cleaning went out the window. i thought it was a really sweet film - a nice mix of gentle comedy and touching drama. i missed the first 40 minutes though, so i'm gonna have to buy it so i can watch the whole thing.

Spider-Man 3- Love this movie... Not as good as the first two, but it's pretty close. But poor Harry.... *sobs*

Spider-Man 3 again, with the director/cast commentary this time. You learn so much random stuff from these, like that the scene where Harry drops the omlette was actually scripted and the woman who played Gwen Stacy was pregnant when she did her stunts.

Elizabethtown - I love this movie! :D

Watched "Friday the 13th" part 2, 3 and 4 on TV last night. They're showing the rest of the franchize tonight and tomorrow night!

I also watched the "Bourne Ultimatum" today. It was SO good! Excellent wrap up to the trilogy!
Jason Bourne=total haxx0rz :notworthy:

I totally knew you'd love Ultimatum.

I was meant to be going to see 30 Days of Night today, but it got postponed till Monday.
So I watched Bleach: Memories of Nobody instead.

George and the Dragon

Pretty good. Obviously a far far stretch from its inspiration, but still pretty enjoyable. The girl was annoying though... very annoying at times...

The Black Swan - Meh, it was OK I suppose. I don't think I'll ever be able to fully warm to any sea faring film from the 50's that has such fake sword fights after seeing the likes of LOTR and POTC. The story was also very weak and predictable, and the cast (who usually are good) seemed to me to be quite bored, and I was too.

^But perhaps it could be funny in the not-meant-to-be-funny-way??

I just saw Hvid nat (White Night), brilliant movie about a man who has everything but lives a superficial life, but when he accidentally causes another man's death he has to revise his whole life.

All 3 Spider-Man movies, with my best friend. So much fun!! :bounce: Although she hadn't seen the first two, so whenever she was startled she'd jump, which would make ME jump. Very fun. :D

Labyrinth with David Bowie. I've only ever seen it once before, and I have to say the first time was better. But, gah! David Bowie's trousers are to die for. Yeah, I know I probably shouldn't have been looking there... ;)
