I didn't like how in the preview for this episode, it shows Jack being shot, like it's really major and important and then when it happens, they were faking. I hate how cheap that was.
I wanted Audrey dead. This is pathetic.
All I got from the preview for the next episode was....
Jack: "I need permission to go kill myself on this suicide mission."
Wayne Palmer: "No."
Jack: "Pshaw. I'm going anyways. Suckers."
Wayne Palmer: "Like, dude. You suck --- I want your resignation."
VP Daniels: "Like, no. 'Cuz if you die. I rock your world."
Wayne Palmer: "I'm the president. Gimme your resignation, NOW! Because this is a formality, and I'll pay 1.5 million dollars for your immediate resignation."
VP Daniels: "Okay."
Kit...beautifully summed up.
And the Silent Clock...oooh....that sounds really...morbid.  Well, I suppose it's supposed to be. They didn't do that for my Assad!

But, you also know when something BIG is going to happen or when someone dies by the music. Like I said. The music is a HUGE indicator of events.
As for Jack under the truck. I laughed too. But mainly because ALL I could think about was ANOTHER Jack...Keanu Reeves and Speed anyone?  XD  But that was under a bus...and I hate to say it...Keanu was hotter in that particular moment. XD
And as we've pointed out earlier, Jack is invincible.

They seem to only do the Silent Clock for characters who have been in more than one season.

Eh. Jack is probably my least favorite character on the show, ironically. xD
I just generally HATE superhero figures with no flaws. Which why I don't really like Superman all that much. Love Batman though.

I agree. He just got kicked in the ribs again! And stomped on the back. Sure, he was writhing for a few moments! But after those few moments he back, peppy as a rabbit in heat. I'd like to see one show where he's bed ridden for at least an episode and his team has to do the work for him!

Doyle was great. I'm glad to see he's not evil (evil in the sence of being the good guy that everybody hates) I actually thought he was going to beat the crud out of Feyed and make him talk, but then Jack wouldn't be the supreme ruler of the world, would he?

And, we've already established that Jack is invincible.
I liked Doyle in not this past episode, but I think the episode before that when he brought up the Quoran and religion in general. Nice little moment between him and Nadia. He's okay...not my favourite though.

I'll only be okay with Jack being Supreme Ruler of the World if Chloe is Co-Supreme Ruler of the World.

Jack's status in my mind just took a MAJOR nosedive. As in, he went from close to the top to kicking his heels down in the very bottom. What on earth does he think he's doing? "Mr President, you owe me." "Stand aside, that's a presidential order." And his whole thing with that dude? Doyle? He's acting like some sort of control freak! How can he think that Audrey's life is worth more than the thousands of people who would die if China got hold of a nuclear weapon!? I've never really seen Audrey, but I don't CARE how great she is. She's not worth thousands.
And *sniffle*...poor Palmer...he was doing so well! So well! And I've officially decided that Tom rocks. If I hadn't before.

I just don't like the unrealistic details of Jack's character. To me, he is the lowest of low, even if he does great things for the country. Someone like Tom, and Wayne Palmer, Karen --- and even Morris. I see them as the true heroes, not Jack.

Yeah, this whole storyline of Jack going "rogue" just to save stupid Audrey is making me angry.
NOT cool. I have to love Jack, because it's Jack...but being an idiot because of stupid Audrey is seriously making me have to reevaluate my views of Jack.
But, Kit. You're right. No matter what we thought of Tom in the beginning, he's only done it for the country. As he said. So, he's number one hero right now. Actually no. He's number two. Number one heroically gave his life. True hero.  I'm sure we all know who that is. Ha ha ha!
