3:10 To Yuma:
It was great, the best cowboy movie i've seen in a very long time. Christian Bale was fantastic, and so was Russel Crowe. The ending was so sad... but I highly reccomend it.
Eastern Promises:
...well. What to say. It was a bit lacking in the plot department. But casting made up for it. Not to mention the random sex scene and the naked Viggo Mortensen fist fight. But other than that...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. My little brother still hadn't seen it, so we watched it last night. I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not.

Well, I was hopeful that it would be possible, but no such luck. I have King Kong, Flags of Our Fathers and Deathwatch, but it turns out the friend who had Nicholas Nickleby lent it out and never got it back and I'm hoping I can find Undertow and Dear Wendy tomorrow at the video store, but it's unlikely.
You've been obsessed with him for years and haven't seen any of his stuff in theaters? Shame on you.
Yes! I had a sandwich today and it was Belltastic!

Unbreakable - That was really weird. Actually it was mostly the ENDING that was weird. Anyone who's seen it (though I doubt anyone has) will know what I'm talking about... Fascinating concept though. I did very much enjoy the line "No shooting friends, Joseph."
Oh, and five minutes or so of X-Men: The Last Stand, because I wanted to watch the part where Jean comes back again - Scott has pretty eyes when they're not shooting laser blasts. Although sadly I realized I will never ever be able to take James Marsden seriously again, after Enchanted. I feel terrible about it, but it's so true.

The Host.
Finally got to see it all the way through. Such a wonderful movie, with such a bittersweet ending...and the monster effects were pretty cool.

i feel well and truly ashamed now. to be fair though, i only became a proper fan about a year ago, during which time he's only released two films - the chumscrubber and hallam foe. the chumscrubber didnt play at a single cinema in the midlands, and i couldn't get to see hallam foe because of working and trying to get everything organised for moving back to uni, so i think i can be forgiven.
oh, and the new pair of jeans i bought today are totally belltastic. so is your sig for that matter. i have the same quote on my wallpaper: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=112a0kz&s=3
anyway, i just watched cabaret. i do love a bit of political musical theatre.

A Knight's Tale. It was the first time I'd watched it since Heath died. Sad. But I still love it, every time I watch it even though I've seen it a billion times now.

Shoot em Up.
Hilariously over the top. This still stands as one of my fave movies of last year. Genius.

"Un long dimanche de fiançailles"
Definitely my favorite movie ever. It's still just as amazing as the first time I saw it.
"If Manech were dead, Mathilde would know. Since the death notice, she stubbornly holds on to her intuition, like to a flimsy wire. She never gets discouraged. And Mathilde is of a cheerful disposition. If that wire doesn't lead her to her lover, never mind...
She can always use it as a noose."

I'm sorry. That sounds like the situation here too though. I like foreign and indie films so much more than the big studio blockbusters... It just feels like they have more heart. Anyway, most of the stuff I want never comes or is shown for one night.
W00t! Thanks, I'm pretty proud of it. *Wishes it fit his screen*

The Goonies. Sean Astin was such a cute little boy. And the kids they got for this movie are just hilariously perfect.

^I just rented "Dear Wendy" and "Undertow" on Monday. I'm so excited to watch them. Plus, I'm seeing "Jumper" Friday night.
"Independence Day"
Such an awesome movie. The destruction scenes still amaze me and I think this is Will Smith's best performance.
"Miracle"
The only sports movie I don't hate.
"Donnie Darko"
The most deliciously twisted film I have ever seen. It has everything! Plane crashes, time travel, pedophiles disguised as motivational speakers, Jake Gyllenhaal, some of the best music of the eighties AND A DEMONIC RABBIT NAMED FRANK. I am not worthy.
