Constantine.
Goodness, Keanu Reeves is my gulity pleasure. I know that he can't really act his way out of a paper bag, but I still love him to pieces.

Be Kind Rewind
Very Cute! Jack Black was very funny... as usual :teehee:

10,000 BC
Eh, it was ok. Geographically it was impossible... just one of the major flaws in it... blah. I was really looking forward to it, and it left me a bit dissapointed.

Stranger Than Fiction
Haha, weird movie! I really enjoyed it.

I actually watched Constantine again. I have it on my DVR, and I was clearing it out, so I figured I'd watch it again.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty - YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! After so many years of wanting to watch this film, I have finally seen it! I derserve a cigar in congratulations! :kick: Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. It would nothing without Danny Kaye, it's his performance that makes for some hilarious moments. Comic genius. :notworthy: I ♥ Walter Mitty. I can't believe they're remaking it with Mike Myers. :annoyed: They should try using their noggins and actually think of something orignal, not stealing the idea from a classic.

In the UK, there are 5 terrestial channels that come with every TV - BBC1, BBC2, ITV3, Channel 4 and Channel 5. (To get more channels you need to buy a Freeview box or to be able to watch Sky channels you need to buy an aerial and also pay monthly for each channel and even on some ocassions pay per rogramme). ITV3, CH4 and CH5 have adverts (commercials) so that's how they make their money. BBC1 and BBC2 have no adverts, so they make their money by license fees, which if you want the BBC channels, you have to pay. That's why when crappy programmes are made by the BBC, or so called celebrities get to flounce around the world finding nice holiday destinations for us viewers (supposedly) people get annoyed, because we're paying the celebrity for the priveldge of sampling that wonderful holiday.

I'm not even gonna get into a rant about the tv licence, other than it's an absolute absurdity.

My copy of Battlestar Galactica: Razor finally arrived so I had to watch it....and my Gods.
Old school Centurions and Raiders....and the Centurions SPOKE!!
*ahem* I rather enjoyed it.

^ Life's too short to rant about the TV licence me thinks. :teehee:

Pygmalion - I'm having a great week for seeing films I've wanted to see for years. At last! The film version of the play that inspired My Fair Lady. It was difficult watching Leslie Howard and Wendy Hiller play Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle and say practically the same lines as was used in My Fair Lady because I'm so used to Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn. I think Howard was actually better than Harrison, but I've been in love with him for years so I'm biased. Hiller was great as always, but I think Hepburn will always be Eliza for me. The only problem with this film was Freddie. Absolutely awful acting, one of the worst performances my eyeballs have ever suffered. :hide:

Why oh why, is this version not available to this poor Brit? I'm a good citizen, my parents pay their TV license.. *sniffle* ...

There's only one thing for it... Montana... here I come....

Ha ha ha ha! AWWWW!!! Teh poor JF can't even get her own country's films! *tear* Twas very good, but no Jeremy Northam. ;)

ANYWAY, I saw "10,000 BC" last night.

Holy crap. I thought it was really good...but that's just me. It's not like it was fantastically amazing and the best thing I've ever seen, because it wasn't. But I enjoyed it. Although, towards the end, I kept thinking "Wow, this is SOOO similar to Stargate!" ;) XD Because ... you know those pretending to be gods in Egypt ... ;) ... Never mind, I'm so weird. :P

BUT, OH MY GOD! OMAR SHARIFF NARRATING??? :swoon: Oh man, I about died when I heard him. :P
And YAY!!! Cliff Curtis! *SQUEE*

Normally I'm not one for happy movies that leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside but... I love this one so much that it isn't even funny. Jimmy Stewart's performance is, as always perfect.

Maybe in the end it is better to be pleasant than smart. Life would be a much nicer experience.

AWWWW. Now you have made me want to see this movie again...thanks a lot. :P I really should just make my mother order it from Amazon or something...

X-Men: The Last Stand - It is now apparently a requirement that I cry at Professor X's funeral. And yet, I still love this movie. :eyeroll:

Enchanted - This movie is the epitome of Disney movies. And I <3 it. :D Though, unfortunately, I still see Cyclops in a poofy shirt instead of Prince Edward...

Sydney White - I finally found this movie for sale somewhere today! Jeez, I didn't think it was as obscure as all that... :duh: But anyway, I LOVE this movie, even though it's cliche and all. Amanda Bynes is just awesome. So are the dorks.

That made me laugh.

CotBP - I ♥ that movie, and I adore Johnney Depp. He makes the movie.

The Lion King - My favorite animated Disney movie ever! Awesome. :D And I didn't know Hans Zimmer composed the score... :erm:

Lady and the Tramp - *shrugs* Alright.

The Parent Trap - How did Lindsay Lohan go from that cute little girl into the person she is now? Anyway, I didn't like it all that much.

Spider-Man 3 - *sigh* Not as good as the first two, but still solid. Still... I love Peter Parker... Really, I do. And, I was watching with this person who likes to talk a lot during movies... And she hates him. :P So, yes. I shall have to rent it and watch it by myself.

Tat's all.
