I loved that movie! Jojo made my day.
Currently watching Star Wars Episode I (the Phantom Menace) - there's a Star Wars marathon on Spike.
I have the movie, but...there really is something fun about watching a movie you love on TV, the same as many other people.

P.S. I Love You, I loved this movie so much. I felt so strong for her, my god I cried a lot since I can relate to so much that's she's going threw and so on.
It was breath taking :] And James Marsters was in it, lol...that made it even better hehe.
Cloverfield, adored it, worships it and going to see it again. It's a few things that I'm angry and annoyed about but that's life, haha. I don't want to say what since I don't want to spoil anything for those who still wants to see it ;]

@ timtimtimtim: I'm SO glad someone has seen this movie! I couldn't decide if I should see it or not, and I think you've convinced me. My mum was talking about seeing it soon, so I think I may go with her.

Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street:
 I like it. A lot.
@Rin: I would have enjoyed Jojo more if it wasn't Jesse Mcartney's voice...

~RinielAranel~ wrote: The Philadelphia Story (the one with Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Stewart) This movie is just so well-written and fun to watch! I love all of the amazing actors...I've seen it so many times, but every time it's wonderful.
YAY! The first time I ever saw that movie was at about 11:30 PM, with my mom and aunt, while eating a pint of ice cream. Three of my favorite actors, a great plot, and black and white...good times. I should watch it again soon, thanks for reminding me.
Horton Hears A Who! - My mom and I were the only ones in the theater, except for some random guy way up in the front that I didn't hear a peep out of the whole time and some other guy who walked out fifteen minutes into the movie, so I could be as loud as I wanted. It was totally fun and made me giggle like a five-year-old. Also, I think that jungle may be the prettiest CGI scenery I've ever seen.
Hairspray - oh my gosh, I LOVE cheesy musicals. As long as they're done right. This one was. Except...I think Zac Efron should just go away for a year or two so someone else can get attention for a while.
101 Dalmatians - Shame on me, I haven't seen this since I was about 10 years old. But Mom bought the DVD awhile back, and I had an hour and a half to kill, so I thought, what the heck. Awwwww. I forgot how much I liked this movie.

Does a Broadway musical count as a movie? Because then I went to "The Beauty and the Beast" It was SO amazing! I havent been to a theater piece before and I just thought it was amazingly well done. Great acting, wonderful props and costumes and just WOW! I was like a little three year old It was just wonderful.

"The Ruins"
I hate to admit it, but I really loved this one. If a horror movie is enough to make me squirm, I know it's really over the top. In a good way. I do like good movies, and things like logical plots and decent acting make me happy. UNLESS it's a horror film, in which case it just has to have enough gore and I'm satisfied.
This film had gore. A lot of gore. In fact, it relied very little on jump scenes as well, which was nice for a change. I still am amazed by how realistic special effects have gotten in just the last few years. I have never seen such realistic mutilations and amputations in my life. The scene where one character has his legs amputated by the others with nothing but rocks and a hunting knife... wow. Then there was the girl who was infected with the tapeworm things who we got to see slowly carve pieces of herself off with said hunting knife while killing and/or mutilating all of the other characters. Awesomeness.
The one part of the film that was both most satisfying and disappointing at the same time were the vines that were slowly eating everyone. They were self aware and they adapted, and that we saw, but they deserved so much more... dare I say "character development." We got no back story, not explanation, and they kind of just got pushed to the background while our characters played out their bloody soap opera. That being said, the vines were also AWESOME. They're sentient creatures that are also able to mimic human sounds and, best of all... they're carnivorous. If their spores get into an open wound, not only do vines grow out of it, slowly digesting you, but little tapeworm like things kill you from the inside out.
While it wasn't a smart movie by any means, it certainly fulfilled its purpose. And it had Jonathan Tucker shirtless, which is always good.

I really went on a whim and figured that if it sucked I could just sleep. You should definitely see it if you get the chance.

National Treasure 2 - Meh... Definitely not as good as the first one. And, I must say, the ending completely blew past me... What the heck happened? But, it did have some amusing bits.
