Nim's Island - well, my mom and I wanted to see a movie this afternoon and since that was the only remotely interesting looking movie (besides Horton Hears a Who ;)) the theater was playing... ;) anyway, it was a cute movie. I enjoyed the "sweet, mushiness" of it at least. and Abigail Breslen is an awesome young actress!

Willa Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. That would be the original, and the best.

Ocean's 12.

I hadn't seen any of them, and was flipping through the channels and saw that. Funny/witty with an interesting plot... will have to see the others as well.

^^You should REALLY see the first one! And the ORIGINAL one too! Really good.

Anyway,
"Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith"

<3

Hands down the most emotionally powerful episode of them all. I LOVE this movie.
The battle between Obi Wan and Anakin is probably the greatest part of the entire movie. OH WAIT. It comes in second to Darth Vader's FIRST BREATH. :swoon: Never fails to make me smile like this --> :)

:notworthy: to Spike for showing EVERY SINGLE STAR WARS EPISODE. :notworthy: Next weekend = teh ORIGINALS. :swoon:

^ I don't like the new Star Wars films at all. Anakin as a whiny American kid and angsty teenager, is not the way I would have liked to have the young Anakin thrust upon an unsuspecting Darth Vader worshipper. No doubt it made George Lucas richer, but I think SW fans on the whole, wouldn't have lamented the new ones never being made.

The Public Enemy
Father of the Bride
(the proper, original, 100% unqiue, bona fide as unlike a remake as you can get version)

I KNOW!!! They rock! I was so excited to see that they're showing them all!

But GRR...for not getting to see III today. I watched I and II this weekend, though. Liam Neeson=<3. Ewan McGregor=<3<3.
Liam Neeson+Ewan McGregor:
:explode:
Haha, just kidding...mostly. :eyeroll: I have loved Star Wars way before I started to love the actors.

Though I have to agree...the originals totally pwn the sequels. (yes...I said pwn. )There is no question. The acting in the prequels was OFTEN horrible. (But mostly because the writing was so bad! Honestly, George, don't ever try to write another love scene...for all our sakes'.)

ANYWAY.
Currently watching TTT. I saw parts of it on TNT this weekend and couldn't stand not to watch the whole thing. :) Aw...watching Sam's speech right now. :D Awesomeness.
AW! FARAMIR!
*cough*
I'm going to finish the movie now. :)
