LOL, I'm sorry.
Michael Emerson thinks (although he really has no idea) that the Others, may be involved in some sort of warfare situation, so in the end the audience may actually say - wow, they aren't really bad at all, they HAD to do what they're doing. In other words he doesn't think they're villains - he thinks they need to do these "bad" things for a good reason.

I am really excited  not just cause Desmond episode..but i think the next few episodes are going to be about getting jack back and focuses on the main people, before we go back to the other ?
Thanks for that link to the interview I shall listen to it when i have free time..and thank you for explaning that to me. I get it now. IM kinda expecting that to happen. but Im kinda expecting that from Juliet but I dont want to accept it..you know...
Does anyone else think she kinda looks like Carrie Ann-Moss ??? I think they look like twins-expect that carrie has black hair?? but Elizbeth is prettier I think and has higher cheek bones _________________ <center>

I'm sorry, I am really excited for the show tonight. I was just really depressed when I posted that.
So do you guys think that we're going to find out this episode what happened to Desmond and why he can see the future or is that a later eipsode....I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Also the next episode is going to be a Jack flashback most likely. The name is Stranger in a Strange Land which makes me think that will be the episode where they talk about his tattoos.
Also coming up sometime soon we'll find out which one of the islanders is Jack's half sister. I'm thinking it's Claire but who knows for sure.

wow.. i didn't know they were going to show Jack's half sister..I didnt know he had a half sister.. but why would that be relavent to the story..but does jack know that?

Well we've known for a while that Jack has a half-sister, if you recall the episode where Anna Lucia and Jack's dad go to Australia together and Jack's dad goes up to that house a begs to see his daughter.
So maybe the telling of who Jack's half-sister is won't be a new plot twist but summing up something they've already mentioned. Anyway by the end of the series I expect we will learn that all of the lostaways are connected in one way or another.
We know that Hurley and Locke are connected because Locke worked for a box company and Hurley bought it sometime after he won the lottery....I can't think of any other connections right now....

Yeah, we found out in an episode of series 2, as Jack's dad spoke to Ana Lucia in a bar, found out she was a cop and asked her to be his bodyguard as he wanted her to come with him. They went to a house, where he had an argument with a woman, asking to see his daughter and saying he had a right, not only because she was his daughter but because he was also paying for the house they were living in.
In LOSTLand, that scene can only have been for a reason, that reason being Jack will find out about his sister......I'm presuming the Others will tell him, as they know everything else.

Interesting. I must have missed Jack's dad going to Austrailia to see his daughter.  But...that was ages ago, so it's not impossible for me to have forgotten. Ha ha ha. Claire as his half sister? Wouldn't be beyond the reaches of the writers, actually. Mmmm...I'll have to have a think on this.  Ha ha ha!
Definately really excited about tonight's episode. FINALLY no more just Jack/Kate/Sawyer. Bleh! I want my Charlie!! He's mine I tell you, MINE!  Ha ha ha!

Wow, I just finished watching tonight's Lost...and I think that it was truely brillant! That is the best episode of Any tv show that I beleive that I have ever seen in my entire life. It was exciting, unpredictable, well written, pretty well acted...wow...just aboslutely brillant.
{Spoiler warning for tonight's episode of Lost from here on, in this post. Just a warning for any who haven't been able to watch this episode yet...}
Ooh, and I loved it tonight when they let Charlie sing. Um I also loved it when Des said that he was protecting Charlie instead of Claire and pretty well revealed that he could see the future or whatever he calls it. Why I liked it was because I just didn't see it coming.
Okay...(takes a deep breathe) Allright from what I have seen so far I like Des, Hurly is allright, and I love Charlie.  However Sawyer's still my very favorite.
Anyway, to get to the main point of my post...do you think that they are going to kill Charlie off? Have I missed something? Did Dom not re-sign with Lost? Please somebody I beg of you (gets down on hands and knees) tell me that you know whether or not Charlie lives...(crosses fingers) Oh, I don't want him to die! Johnny's fan, See what happened was that Des saved Claire (who had said that she had went for a walk but had went swimming) from drowning. Okay so then at the end of the episode Charlie and Hurly are trying to get Des to admit that he sees the future by getting him very drunk. Anyway, at the end Des tells Charlie that he had put the rod outside of Claire's tent so that it would strike it instead of hitting and killing Charlie like it was supposed to. Then if that wasn't enough Des said that it was supposed to happen that Claire was drowning, he (Charlie) tried to save Claire, and that Charlie should have died in the process. Um, Des also said that he dived into the water to save Claire to actually save Charlie from diving in (to save Claire) to save him (Charlie) and that he had saved him thus far but that he didn't think that he could do if forever and that he was sorry.
(sigh) There's the explanation for that. So when I watched it I nearly died...of heart failure. Needless to say that your re-assurence that Charlie will probabley be allright is Definatly making me feel better. I was just so freaking out...(takes a deep breathe) Plus the re-assurence on Sawyer was also Very helpful! I am so glad that I at least can still hold out hope that my two favies will not die any time soon. Thank you!
