Woah, am I actually the first one on here to see it?

Ok. All of the hype it is getting... It COMPLETELY deserved. It was hysterical, adorable and heartwarming (and I usually despise heartwarming). I seriously could have watched WALL·E just process trash and play with his cockroach for about six straight hours. :P

Im with you brother. I usually HATE heartwarming :P Makes me sick with cheese. But this is just A-MAI-ZING. I could watch him and the roach walk around Earth and do the trash thing for days on end. TOO CUTE! I shall not divulge the plot, because I find that Pixar movies are so much nicer when you have no idea what to expect - I made sure I knew nothing beyond Wall-e being a robot. But I love the movie :) Which is saying something, because theres only a handful (about a third of them Pixar :teehee:) that I really enjoy. GO WATCH!

The best part WAS WALL-E alone on earth.. it was so cute... I wouldn't have minded if the movie just contained that. :teehee: The whole human part was okay... not as sweet though. Still...

Okay, I must rant about the previews before the movie, though. #1, the stupid Chihuahua. :headwall: That would be the third time I saw that. :eyeroll: Honestly, I wanted to throw popcorn at the screen... and would have... if I wasn't sharing with other people. ;) And then when Miley Cyrus' name came on the screen for the new movie she's voicing... I booed. Very softly... but still. :P

Btw, can anyone remember what "WALL-E" stands for?

I certainly hope so. I don't think I want to wait any longer than I have already. :P It depends if anything else is happening that day, but *hopefully* I'll see it at the first available opportunity.... I could always fly to America I suppose and see it ahead of schedule. :teehee:

Like I'm doing? Yes, you heard right. Larael is seeing Wall•E tomorrow [or today if you're in the UK]. *happy dance*

*sigh*

I hate being a UK-er sometimes. By the time I see things, usually no-ones up for talking about them as it's been so long since they saw them. :-(

Aww, I'm sorry JF. I'll gladly talk about it and squee over it in a months time. Actually, I'll probably see it again in the UK so my excitement will be replenished. :)

I am my dearest, Sairahiniel. :)

So, Wall•E was just as amazing as everyone said it was. It's probably one of the best Disney movies out there, and it's definitely made it onto my favourites list. Without giving too much away I'd like to warn people that the movie has a lot of undertones concerning the environment and superstores taking over. I really think that's what makes it so interesting for adults who will understand such issues, while children will enjoy it for the simple story and cuuute characters. :P

I must agree on the raising of awareness towards what we can do to ourselves, because we, my dear humans, have gotten ourselves into a pickle jar, and boy are those sides slippery. Lets just hope it dosent come to that. But its really presented in such a sweet way that the children can see it as just a funny little cartoon. I think I was most impressed by the cuteness ^_^ TOO CUTE!

I loved it all. :) The cuteness, the message behind it, the humour... it was all wonderful.

i agree with EVERYTHING you said. seriously. especially when he found a spork and didn't know where to put it. i giggled.

that chihuahua movie looks completely pointless. i predict a total bomb at the box office.

i believe Wall-E stands for:
Waste Allocation Load Lifter-Earth-Class

Well, this is irritating. My Target has NO Wall-E stuff AT ALL. :annoyed2: And the only good Walmart around here is about half an hour away.

I actually put my head in my hands and almost started crying when I heard that stupid, stupid commercial start. :headwall: I swear...I'm glad the next movie I wanna go see in theaters is almost guaranteed NOT to have that commercial. :P

Has anyone gotten bored enough to attempt to imitate any of the characters? I do a pretty good Wall-E and a decent Mo.

Ooooh, in less than 7 days I shall be watching it... SQUEE... we are going to see it on opening day, which is Friday... I just hope it isn't busy... I like my cinema experiences to be minus crying children, crunching nachos and the crinkle of popcorn bags. ;)
