Squee! Anie, I am so happy you liked it so much! It was just awesomeness wasn't it? I thought they handled everything so brilliantly! Even if they didn't need that Susan/Caspian kiss I thought they still added it with class. it could've been a lot worse as someone said. yay! *bounces around with Anie in honor of PC*
Nie, wow! Those are all beautiful costumes! It looks like lots of fun!
btw, I'm sorry about all of you guys who won't be able to see it yet... I wish somehow you guys could've seen it with us too... or that something could happen so you could go. Then we could all bounce about it together.
TT, whee! You get to see it tonight!? AWESOME!
ugh, and on the convo about the action figures. Well, my brother and I just came back from searching ALL over and it appears to be Toys "R" Us and Target are the only two that have any of the figures. And the Susan/Reepicheep set appears to be the rarest one. of course the one I really wanted. But I got Caspian, Pete and Edmund at least. but from what the employee at Toys "R" Us told me it sounds like the collectors are buying these up the moment they hit the shelves.

Prince Caspian was the first Movie I saw that had ALOT of people there. And I didn't like the crowd, Nope, not one bit. Must go to earlier showings from now on. Must...

It was perfect when I went to see AWE. It was an early showing at a different theater, and hardly anyone was there. I want to go to that theater from now on. For every movie I go to see.

... is it really that good? I haven't even read the books before and it seems a tiny bit childish. It looks kind of good though...

The books aren't childish, even though they were aimed at a younger audience. Alot of older people enjoy them too. And yes, the movie is that good.

Bala, yup, that does sound just about perfect. I love it when you have the theater almost all to yourself. lol, aye, I know that. and I can't blame you in the slightest.
Haldir, never read the books?! childish!? No, no they aren't childish at all! like Balathor said they are aimed at younger people but a lot of older people can enjoy them too. C. S. Lewis wrote them for all ages to read and enjoy. they aren't as hard to read or in-depth even as LotR, of course, but they have that same, classic feel. I would definitely recommend them! and the movies literally are that good! If you like good characters, storyline, action, drama, fantasy ect you would probably like them. They are right along the same road as LotR.... classics all the way!

I wouldn't call Lewis' world as in-depth as Tolkien's, I think Tolkien's world is quite dramatically more so. I do agree, however, they're good books.

Yes, it is. And now, they are gone. Nie's face is a fleeting thing.

Kudos to Kitoky for the fabulous signature set, and art credit to engelszorn.
Who wants to join me in bringing back the lady?
