My mom and I watched the last hour and a half of that last night. Sandra Bullock cracks me up. *I have yet to see that movie from start to finish*
last two movies I watched were Prince of Egypt and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron...the other day I watched 101 Dalmatians *orignal Disney animated* and Bambi....I must be on a "kid-kick" hehe.

Ug. I really, really, really, really, REALLY want to see The Dark Knight.
O Brother, Where Art Thou - I throughly enjoyed this movie. It was really original and funny. I studied the Odyssey during the past school year, so that also made the movie more meaningful/enjoyable too.
Shrek/Shrek 2 - Ha. I loves these movies. Also original, and funny.
To Catch A Theif - Hitchcock. *shrugs* Wasn't, like, the most amazing thing ever. Still...

Batman: Gotham Knight
Very good in an Animatrix way. Love all the different use of animation styles.

"Straight Talk"
It was on CMT and I was kind of bored.
But Dolly Parton is a DOLL.
And James Woods is well...MMMMMM. Ha ha ha. I love James Woods. He's SO cool and such a brilliant actor. And I'm beginning to realize my friends' running joke about my "old man fetish" is coming true. O.o HA HA HA!

I watched The Prestige last night, finally.
Um. I'm not sure what to think about it. Well, it was bloody brilliant. I mean, Serkis, Bale, and Jackman... even Roger Rees! (I was so delighted to see him again, definitely a brilliant actor.) The acting was MINDBLOWING good. The story, the scenery, everything was just amazing. But at the same time, I was awfully depressed after watching it. Rather a dark story. A dark artistic masterpiece.

Uh. I don't know. The cable box is freaking out and won't tell us what we're watching anymore. But it involved murder. And old people. Ooh, and weird new age spiritual healing.

10 000 BC on the way to Montreal
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Fool's Gold and 21 on the way home from London.
All of them were pretty good.

^I really want to see that movie!
"Anne Of Green Gables"
'Twas the conclusion on PBS. I forgot just how much I ADORE Anne of Green Gables! Oh my goodness, takes me back to my childhood.
But can I just say, I really am beginning to have an "old man fetish" because I was rooting for Morgan Harris from the moment he and Anne met. I was SOO heartbroken when Anne refused him. And just gagged at the very end when Gilbert was all well. I'm SOO weird.

Part of a 300 film-style (part live action, part CGI) movie called Immortal. I wasn't familiar with many of the actors, though I did recognize the main leads' names (Thomas Kretschmann and Charlotte Rampling). It was very atmospheric, and the visuals were just mindblowing ! Interesting story, too . I'd like to see all of it one of these days .
After that (and despite the fact that it was like, 1:30 in the morning ), I saw this little Spanish indie film called Only Human. It's a comedy that revolves around what ensues when a young woman brings her Palestinian fiancé home to meet her Jewish family. Very sweet and very cute .
Fencing Maiden- Excellent movie, I agree . That humongous twist at the very end was jaw dropping (the bit where, if you look at the very left edge of the screen, you see that Hugh Jackman's character is indeed alive)!
