"Around The World in 80 Days"

Loved the all-too-brief Owen Wilson cameo. That guy has so much talent...

Gunfight At the OK Corral

Boot Hill, Boot Hill
So cold, so still
Here they lie side by side
All the killers that died
At the Gunfight of OK Corral

Arizona is now on my wishlist of places to visit in the US (when I ever get there). I want to visit the Boot Hill cemetary, see the graves of the Clantons actually go to the Ok Corral.

Ah, I love the American West. :D

i'm currently watching RENT, once again.
this makes me happy, which is good, considering the last few days have been so...rollercoaster-ish...

The Grapes of Wrath
I should have grabbed a fistful of tissues before I started watching. Brilliant, emotional movie. I did miss Noah saying goodbye. I wish they had put that in.

^ I've never understoood that film. I mean, the appeal of it. Every now and then a classic just fails to impress me.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Ah, at last I got to see this. Very good western and the music is amazing. Esctasy of Gold is one of the best pieces of music, and the cemetary scene just went perfectly with it.

There are definitely some classics out there that don't impress me, either. This one, though... *shrugs* I can't even explain exactly why I liked it, but I did. :teehee:

I'm glad it's not just me who feels that way. Sometimes I am disappointed with myself for not taking to them, especially when they are everything I should like. It's weird how taste works. :P

Miracle

It's about the US Hockey team beating the heavily favored Soviet Union. It's such a good movie. <3

He he, I would've loved to see your face... man, I wish I would've known it was on... I do love that movie.. although anything with Orli is good enough for me. <3

But the most recent movie for me was Suburban Girl... the only reason I watched it was because of Sarah Michelle Gellar... and the whole time I could not stop thinking about Keyara and Beckara!
