Go late or go early then if you want it to be quiet. I like my movie watching experience to be as quiet as possible as well.

You're a smart lass, you are. I would've never thought to go at that time. Probably because I'm usually in school... :P

The plot doesn't show up until at least half an hour/45 minutes in, but it's there.

The Dark Knight, actually. THAT one is pretty much guaranteed Chihuahua-free. :teehee: But then my mother has offered to let me take my aunt to see Prince Caspian this weekend (Aunt Bev hasn't seen it yet) so unfortunately that means I shall have to brave the Chihuahuas of Doom once again. :'( :P

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I have see Wall-e!! I have seen Wall-e!! Even the little *beep* who'd been let out of school early and were enjoying me, didn't spoil it!

OMG, he was the cutest little ball of metal ever! Seriously, one of Pixar's best characters. It's not my most favourtiest Pixar film... but it is up there on a level with my favourite... I just can't decide which one is top dog!

Loved it, loved it, loved it. I thought all the little robot characters were so amazing. Especially M-O. And the renegade robots who kept humming "Put On Your Sunday Clothes". I thought the use of songs from "Hello Dolly!" was a really neat idea.

I was just watching it with a big stupid grin on my face. It was a really nice film. :-)

And the short?! OMG! I loved the way it looked like a 1950's Tom and Jerry cartoon, and the story and all that was going on in the short was brilliant. Probably my favourite Pixar short yet. The bunny was so cute... yet evil. :teehee: But he worked with the magician in the end and they were friends again, like Tom and Jerry. :D

I felt the exact same way about the short! It was really perfect. For some reason I'm not usually impressed with those sorts of things, but this one was fantastic!

It really was cute, wasn't it? M-O is definitely my favourite after Wall-E. Also the robot with the "straightjacket" was pretty *ahem* brilliant as well bashing things up like he did. I probably squeed through the majority of the movie... :P

My personal favorite robot (besides Wall-E and EVE) was the one that painted the yellow lines all wrong. For some reason that idea had me cracking up. :teehee:

Some of the Pixar shorts fall way off the mark, but my personal favourites are "Lifted" (Ratatouille), "For the Birds" (Monsters Inc) and now this one.

M-O (Mircrobe Oblitorator) was such a great little guy. I was really *hoping* he and Wall-e would become friends. I loved the scene when he is first cleaning Wall-e, and Wall-e just pauses for one second as if deciding... then puts his dirty foot on M-O's head. XD I thought that was hilarious.

I'm just sad that the two giant Wall-e's didn't come out the of the ship to help, but we know that humans and robots will work together so I'd like to think that means all the robots. I also like to think all the dead Wall-e's are fixed as well. So it really is a happy film.

I don't remember the short from Ratatouille. But, then again, I did watch Ratatouille on DVD only. Do you know if it was on the DVD as well? I do remember the short from Monster, Inc. It was hilarious! I also remember one with this pathetic little sheep in it... I can't remember what movie it went with though.

M-O and Wall-E had some brilliant moments together! I couldn't help squeeing when they finally teamed up and became friends. :P

Haha, and I loved all the Mac/Apple references as well - the iPod video, the sound Wall-E makes when he charges up, and M-O's voice when he says "foreign contaminent". :teehee: I know, I'm such a Mac fangirl. :)

Yes, Lifted should definitely be on the DVD. It will be on YouTube most likely. ;) The weird sheepy thing was on the Incredibles, I wasn't too impressed with it really.

That was pretty much my reaction as well. And I'm so glad his little cockroach friend was there when he came back, in the same place as when he left him!

Well I've never used a Mac/Apple anything, so all the referances I wouldn't really know. :P

Ah yes, YouTube, my <s>second</s> third home. I'll check there later and watch it to refresh my memory. Oh no, I wasn't too impressed with it either [considering I couldn't remember what movie it went with :P], but I did feel a bit sorry for the sheep. ;)

Aaah! I completely forgot about the cockroach! :duh: How cute was it that it never died? I mean it got blown up and stepped on, but it just kept chugging along.

Ah well, it made me happy at least. :teehee:

Well they say cockroaches are nigh on indestructible. They are the only creatures that would survive a nuclear blast apparently. :teehee:

Did anyone notice the other Pixar toys in Wall-e's home? Rex, Hamm etc etc?

Wow, I didn't know that. Where'd they get that awesome power from? :P

Oh no, I didn't notice any of those at all! I should've paid more attention. :duh: I got too distracted by the cage of rubber duckies because it reminded me of you, JF. ;) *eyes the PDODD warily*

I finally saw this today!

I know, a little late. :P But my family doesn't go to the movies much so I was quite happy to get to see this in theatres at all!

It was so wonderful! I always expect greatness from Pixar, but you know, I'm always surprised. I loved Wall-E. He was absolutely adorable. Really, it took me most of the movie to get over his cuteness and actually focus on the story.

He and Eve were so great together. Another wonderful Pixar Pair. :) I really came to like her, as a character, as the sotry went on.

And that cockroach was AWESOME. I was so happy when he was there at the end! I hated when they left him alone.

Oh, I didn't think to look for the Pixar toys. Good eye.

And all of the Wall-E/MO stuff was hillarious. I love how Wall-E made a little dirt just to watch him clean it. It was so funny. :D

And all of the defective robots were great too!

Oh my gosh...the short! The bunny was so funny. :) Definitely one of the best ones ever. (Where do they think of these funny little ideas?)

(Oh goodness. I feel so bad now because I don't remember the short from Ratatouille at all! What was it about?)
