Very interesting bloopers. It's kinda weird, sometimes they want the director to keep the bloopers there. Even for the person that's suppose to watch out for them leaves some of 'em in.

Me too!

I saw it a couple of weeks ago and I loved it except for the part when Rauol gets Christine. I wasn't very happy about that. :annoyed:

Isn't the phantom entitled to enjoy a little beauty, even though he put her under a trance?

I think so! :-D

During the Masquerade song Pinagi says "No more ghost" and then Carlotta says " Here's a health" If you look closely Minnie Driver does NOT move her lips and say that!

No, actually Madame Giry said that, I was watching a behind the scenes footage a minute ago. It's on a side view.

Has anyone noticed this?

When Carlotta sings " Think of me " she sings on a higher note then Christine...I doubt that the maestro would know Christine would need a lower note...Andrew Lloyd Webber was hoping many people wouldn't catch it.

.......The handsome guy ALWAYS gets the girl! It's foolproof!

And in the voice business...as you may very well know Rumil, Minnie Driver's VA for the singing DOES actually sing better than that of Emmy Rossum.

Yeah, but Minnie couldn't really reach her high notes.

Really? I actually thought Margaret Preece (Minnie's VA) was better at singing the part of the Confidante in Il Muto than she did for Carlotta. She made Carlotta sound like a screeching harpie!

Well it IS opera.

And guys, you must understand that it was not Minnie Driver singing -- she did her lines but the singing is Margaret Preece, her Voice Actress. Though Minnie Driver DID sing the ending credit song "Learn to be Lonely"

Well see, you have to take this in perspective.

Emily Rossum does not have a full blown opretic voice. It sounds more like she should be on Broadway, then the Opera, although she does hit high notes.

Margaret Preece is a full blown Opera singer...And Kitoky is right. She's better.

heh heh, that's what I meant. Minnie only acted it out. Learn to be Lonely was a pretty ending song. I like the lyrics.

Hear hear to what Kit said about Raoul! whee! Go Raoul! *huggles Raouly*

I can't say I feel THAT sorry for Phanny. I mean...well...it's sad that he's disfigured and that no one would give him a chance if they saw him without his mask. But you can't say his choices had nothing to do with the reactions he got. He DID murder a bunch of people, and if he had really really really loved Christine, would he really have kidnapped her and tried to kill her fiance? It seemed more like obsession to me.

Kit, the reason Phanny's hair suddenly lightens and becomes sparse without his mask is because he's wearing a wig with his mask. When Christine pulls off the mask, if you look closely, you can see the wig fall away too.
