That's a tough movie to get through.
Indeed, I could stand the first half hour and the last 10 minutes, the rest of the movie I enjoyed in the foyer trying to keep my dinner down!

Sorry to anyone that actually likes those books. I could rant forever about how much I hate it, but I'll just scurry off now and pretend I was never here.  Words cannot describe how much I loathe what Stephenie Meyers has done. She's completely butchered the Vampire Mythology and Folklore. Those things in her books (and the movie) are NOT Vampires.

WALL-E - Awww.  It's such a sweet movie. Pixar is awesome. 
The Lion King -  Wow... back in the day Disney was actually pretty darn good itself.  Awesome movie... (was actually thinking of Darky throughout it...   )

Marley and Me... and we thought it was about Owen Wilson and Jennifer Anniston... and then it turned out to be about... their dog... and I'm definitely not a dog person.. and still I ended up crying... huh!

I refuse to go see Marley & Me. Or even read the book. We've lost 4 dogs in the past 4 years and one of our current ones is starting to get rather old. We think he's probably got about 2 years left in him at the most. Plus I have a completely insane Labrador as it is so why do I need to waste money going to the cinema when I've got a free show at home?

It was excellent. By all means. But the ending... gee. It was beautiful and yet heartbreaking in every sense of the word. I was crying for probably the last 15 minutes or so. But maybe it wouldn't be so sad or relatable for someone who's never loved and lost a dog. Since that happened to me not even 2 years ago it's all really fresh in my mind. And they hit the emotions and everything dead on. 
I'm happy I watched it and yet... I cried more then I thought I would. I just remembered watching our dog grow old and slowly wear down and everything the way Marley did so yeah. It was a really sweet movie though.
