Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

I was flipping through the channels and saw TNT was playing it, so I forced my younger cousins to watch it with me. Mwahaha. In all seriousness though, I'm glad they're still keeping the movies alive. Yay Tolkienites!

I so agree.

Knowing

A little too creepy for me and the ending was completely weird, but Nicolas Cage was brilliant. The effects were phenomenal, the lighting and coloring was perfect, but those whole "whispery" guys were a little scary.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni [Live Action]

Much better than I reckoned it would be. They managed to maintain the right level of creepy.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Peter is so annoying in this. I just wanted something hard and heavy to fall on him. They have ruined his character and WM doesn't help either. Suspian sucks, but Ben Barnes is actually quite good as Caspian. I'm still angry at the slaughter scene of the Narnians in the castle, as it's just wrong. I hate seeing Narnians die anyway, but when it was just for "added effect", it angers me.

Forrest Gump

We started watching it in American Studies today... it seems sorta sad at parts... definitely reminds me a lot of the Tim Burton movie Big Fish... I'll probably end up liking it just as much. :)

Yeah. Repo! The Genetic Opera.

It's like the Rocky Horror of our generation. It's a Sci-Fi musical (well, technically an opera because every word is sung, but whatever) about the near future. People are so caught up in destroying themselves that organ failures become an epidemic, and a certain company, Geneco, loans out organs because people can't afford them. Again, truly the Rocky Horror of our generation.
