Watchmen

The graphics were awesome, visual effects awesome, the plot pretty cool, the characters...not so much. I really liked Adrian Veidt but that's just because..well, he was cute. Silk Spectre was hot too but...to be honest, I didn't feel any character depth in the film.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

i liked how it was supposed to be serious to the characters, but to us viewers, it really isnt! :))

Monster from a Prehistoric Planet (I think that was the title)- 0_o 0_o 0_o. What the heck. This was insane! Like, I dunno.... it was meant to be a horror but it was more like a comedy. It was an old, cheesy, Japanese movie reminiscent of Godzilla. (you know, the old Godzilla movies) It was awful! Dad and I watched it and we couldn't help but burst out laughing sometimes at some parts of it. It was SO terribly cheesy. And not just as far as it's old and the visual effects are out-dated but just as in... utterly cheesy. It was horrible... but at least you could laugh at the horrible-ness of it. :P

"Inkheart"
I didn't think I'd like it (considering I'd read the book and really loved it) and was afraid that it might be ruined for me. While the movie was very different from the book I found it rather enjoyable. There were parts that could have been done better, admitidly. But over all I really loved it. As usual I LOVED the villains; Capricorn and Basta were GREAT! Surprisingly, for me at any rate, I really loved the heroes too. Dustfinger was amazingly brought to life, -er, uh literally - LOL - and the young lady who played Meggie was really very good. A fairly good movie in general with some parts in it that had me laughing 'til there were tears in my eyes.

"Persuasion"

The most recent BBC adaptation. Loved it. As usual. I'd been wanting to read "Persuasion" ever since I was in Bath. But have yet to get to a library to check it out. XD So I just had to enjoy recognizing ALL the places in Bath. I went a little crazy.

"Run, Fat Boy, Run"

I ADORE Simon Pegg. Absolutely and completely love that man. Great film. GREAT. Simon was hysterical and SO lovable as usual. Ahhh ha ha ha ha! I can't get over the blister scene. *facepalm* AHHH! Great movie. :D

It really was a sweet movie, but with the typical epic humour that comes with Simon and Dylan. Dylan was just so frakking hysterical, I couldn't get over it! Oh my god.
