All I have to say is: :-) :D :'( :'( :-( :-) :boing: :boing: :notworthy:

Pixar films always make me feel so many different emotions. Adorable with a capital "A".

^I reaaaaaally want to see "Up." Pixar ftw.

"3:10 To Yuma"

MMMM. Christian Bale is verrrrrry yummy. As is Ben Foster in his fine lookin' chaps that are so ... form fitting. XD Great movie (SOO much better than the original). Man, I love the old wild west - especially with this much realism.

"Hot Fuzz"

:notworthy:

Still quite possibly one of the funniest movies ever. When a movie like this can get even my dad to laugh, you know it's good.

YOU GOT TO SEE IT!!! :D That made me happy. Anyways...

UP was also the last movie I saw. Pixar is awesome. I mean... wow. Their movies are just so wonderful. JF put it out perfectly: they make you feel so much. Never a dull moment. Never a time where you're disinterested. Always smiling. Getting teary. Laughing. It's just amazing.

I was thinking of you as I watching it. :-)

Pixar really did it this time. They spent so much more time giving you background on the characters which made you care for them more... it was a real story driven film, even more so than any of the others. And the characters were just awesome. It was a sweet, sad, lovely and just big-smiley film that left you feeling happy at the end.

Did you see the short before it, Partly Cloudy?

Me too!
So very capital `A´!
Actually, it made me cry. Pixar made the characters so authentic, combined with the story-line, that tears did come & go... :'(
I loved Partly Cloudy, but I´d seen it before..I even have it as a fav on my Facebook!

Milk- Great movie :]! And boy do we need someone like him now, what with the radical Christian right's (so far winning) crusade against the LGBT community :(.

Aw, really? :)

It was amazing, wasn't it? The backstory difinitely added so much. It's really amazing how they were able to put so much emotion into such a little bit of film. Yeah. It was amazing really. I noticed myself smiling through most of it. Just a really well-done, sweet film.

I saw it back in May. I didn't watch it the other night, though... watched the short film they added to the dvd instead. But the Partly Cloudy was adorable, from what I remember. What did you think of it?

"Sense & Sensibility"

SUCH a brilliant film. Of course. Bah, I'm such a hopeless romantic. :duh: But I swear, Alan Rickman's sexiness is SOOOO beyond words, it's ridiculous. :swoon:

The one thing that could have made this film better, was a very large amount of Hugh Laurie. XD He was SO classic. And had all his gorgeous hair! XD

District 9

Where do I even BEGIN? Even if I was a complete optimist who thought humans were wonderful creatures and only makes mistakes that we would learn from them eventually, I would still lose a large portion of my faith in humans. That being said, I'm a terrible misanthropic cynic whose sense of idealism is draining by the day. Is that all humans do? Subjugate and control? It almost got to the point where I was supporting a human extermination by the aliens. It certainly got to the point where I strongly favoured nationalising all military contractors and redistributing their assets (Okay I already support that but never mind). Never mind the fact that people have done this in the past. To quote the Master: "The human race. Greatest monsters of them all."

Then came...
Wall-E

OH MY GOD! And who would have thought robot romances were cute? Yeah, yeah I just saw this but my GOD, was Wall-E and EVE adorable or what? I thought I was going to die from gushing over those two. It's brought back some idealism and that tiny little hope of finding my "Eevuh".

So you’re saying that Christians (and non-Christians alike) who stand up against Gay and Lesbian beliefs are wrong? All who oppose Gays are radical for stating their views and acting on their views? What makes the LGBT community necessarily right? What makes our society so much more advanced now than it was only a few dozen years ago when being gay was something to be ashamed of?

Anyway, I know religion ect is prohibited because it could offend or whatever but I figured no one would mind if I stated my views quickly on something that was offensive to me.

That's all... except I'm extraordinarily jealous of JF and TT for getting to watch UP! :P
