I'm with you, Altariel Frodo. Not much of an intense/violent-movie watcher.

The new trailers are pretty neat...I just hope that the acting is good enough to make the failures of interpretation bearable.

I agree, but it could have been a whole lot worse, don't you think? I mean, it's a pretty good song (for Avril) other than the fact that it doesn't totally work with the movie.

Yea, it could have been worse - but it could have been a heck of a lot better, too! And the lyrics/theme of the song...or at least the chorus...it totally isn't relevant to Eragon in particular; it could basically be applied to ANY movie with any semblance of conflict and heroism in it. At least the songs in the LotR credits were RELEVANT.

I don't like the song as an Eragon song at all. I like it as a song on it's own, even though I don't like Avril's voice at all. I'm just taking it totally seperate from Eragon... because where in the world did pop and Eragon cross anyway? Makes no sense.

Look on the bright side - at least she's not IN the movie! I think it's a nice song, even if it's not relevant.

Did anyone else notice that there are no trailer shots of Arya unconscious or anything? She stays like that for a pretty good portion of the book, I hope they haven't cut it...

There are shots of her unconscious when she's still a captive, but none of her after Eragon rescues her and she's still unconscious...I'm betting that's what you're talking about... I maintain that the filmmakers probably want to make the mind-to-mind conversations live action and keep unconscious-elf-princess to a minimum It makes the audience nice and sympathetic toward her when she's held captive, but not as much so after she's rescued.

Well, I've finally caught up watching all those trailers! So many new ones, I think my favorite is definitely the Japanese one, it's so nifty and plus Angela is in it! She sounds cool, but I disapprove of her costume, and she has a nose ring...I always imagined Angela as earthy, I think Tim4x or someone said that, and I definitely agree. Oh well, I guess my Angela problems are like everyone elses Arya problems Oh well....

And the whole Avril Lavigne thing, I disapprove I'd imagine that song for a teenie-bopper movie or something...I would rather prefer some instrumental music or something. Oh well, I guess all we can do is rant..

Ooo, Baby Saphira is sooo cute! I just want to give her a hug! Hehe I'm excited for the movie to come out, even if it strays from the book a bit...
