Due Date

SOO FUNNY. I loved it when RDJ just decked the kid in the stomach. Classic. Plus his beautiful face and the gorgeous red Subaru Impreza were super distracting.

The Expendables

Fun, enjoyable. Not a lot of thought put in it thus not a lot of thought needed to go through it. Crowning moment has to be when Statham and Lee took down that one guy. BA!

Machete

I have a secret love for movies that simply refuse to take itself seriously and Machete is that movie. Honestly, if you have a giant BA scarred Danny Trejo send some smug advisor the message that says "You just ****ed with the wrong Mexician", you know your movie has lost all sense of seriousness. Robert deNiro chewing the scenery was just enjoyable and I love every minute of it. Crowning moment is when *SPOILER ALERT!!!* Michelle Rodriguez completely defies conventional fate and emerges from the ambulance with an eyepatch, wearing nothing more than a leather bra and pants and kicking ass and taking names.

Michael Collins

About 45 minutes into this movie and it just got itself a seat in my top 10. The movie was just magnificant. Liam Neeson does a fabulous job playing as the revolutionary hero, Michael Collins. Aiden Quinn does a wonderful job playing his friend and later tragic rival, Harry Borland. Alan Rickman did a fantastic job as usual. What I enjoyed about this movie is that while it does take some creative license, it doesn't portray the anti-treaty people as monsters. Absolutely sublime and the ending had me almost at tears.

Not A Word... it's a movie. You haven't heard of it before? Well, neither had I and I was about to turn off the TV when I heard "...and starring Sean Bean." It might as well have been starring Sean Bean's voice and shadowy figure... it wasn't like he got a lot of screen time.. sadly enough. And his part was such a classic Sean Bean-role it's almost funny.. except it isn't... Playing the baddie in the form of the master thief, the double-agent, the power-hungry scientist or the guy who was neglected as a kid and now want revenge on the entire planet... well, it get's old... At least write some substantial parts for him. Such waste of good talent! :P
