I knew this book would be made into a film. I had a feeling in my gut, but I never had a chance to read the books. I really wanted to, too.

I don't really like the person playing durza. Okay, I have nothing against the actor, but i amagined Durza as younger, and being hot in a dark kind of way.
I love the books. They are so good. Can't wait for the third one!

Haha, I agree with you about Durza. Too old, and his hair is way too long And he has BLUE eyes

I don't know. I can't recall when that wuld have happened. But in movies things tend to get added to make it easier for people to understand. Hmph!

It's Galbatorix talking to (lecturing?) Durza. Why Galbatorix is even in the movie, I have no idea. I had thought that maybe he'd be in a flashback kind of thing, when Brom is tellling the story of the Dragon Riders (if that's in the movie, that is), but it doesn't look like that now.

When I saw the title of this thread I was seriously hyperventalating(is that how you spell that?). Anyway, it looks, intersting. I think they made a big mistake casting a blond as Arya. Although, the kid playing Eragon looks like he'll do a good job. Can someone send me the teaser trailer? akm_92@yahoo.com Thanks!

Is the blond playing Arya going to stay blonde? Because that would be bad. They better darken her hair.....or I'll get them! Grrrrrrrr.....

Murtagh -He´s the one I WAANTT!!! Ok... But I still can´t wait for the movie!!! The thing I hate an both love is that it´s filmed in Hungary-my neighbourhood -.- ........
@Eruana-I don´t think they made the trailer..
Sienna Guillory is actually pretty, and I think she shoud have been dark.. it´s more Arya-alike

Hello
I'm about half way through the first Eragon book and find myself very attracted to it! I didn't know they were making a movie...
Do you all think it will do the book justice?

Well, I can't pretend to speak for everyone, but I think... It'll be a good film in it's own right, it'll just deviate a lot from the book. In that regard I don't think it will do the book justice.
But I'm still expecting quality...
