When it comes to Just Freindship I would have to say Aragorn and Legolas from Lord of the Rings. Then when it comes to love I like Drew and Claire from Elizabethtown Logan and Rouge from X Men (Only after her 18th birthday) Will and Elizabeth from Pirates of the Carribean Sawyer and Kate from Lost Sayid and Shannon from Lost Charlie and Claire from Lost Jack and Juliet from Lost Henry and Vianna from As the world turns Tony and Anna from Days of our Lives Ginny and Harry from Harry Potter Tonks and Lupin from Harry Potter (if they count) p.s. Would you mind it if I made a, what two tv or movie characters would you like to see become a romantic couple, like thread? I thought that I might ask you first because you gave me the idea.

)no way, jo and friedrich make such a better couple. if she'd have married laurie she'd have been expected to become the perfect society hostess (no matter how nice you think laurie might be, he would have caved to social pressure at some point and tried to force jo to conform to the expected role), but with friedrich she was free to pursue her writing. plus, i think friedrich understood her on a much deeper level than laurie did. anyhow my favourite film couple is faramir and eowyn (i know there's not much about their relationship in the film, but i know their scenes from the books so well that i see the film couple like that too). jo and friedrich are a close second though - i love the end when he says "but my hands are empty, i have nothing to give you", then she puts her hand in his and says "not empty now" and then they kiss in the rain. it may be cheesy, but it gets me everytime. eowyn and jo are the characters i identify with most, and i love both the men they end up with - i'd choose faramir and friedrich over aragorn and laurie any day. |

I see your point, Eowyn, and I like Friedrich/Jo too (and see why Jo and Laurie wouldn't have made a good couple)...but I still love Laurie  Especially in the movie. *Jo/Laurie shipper*

I have to agree and disagree with the Jo/Laurie thing. I was sorely disappointed when they didn't get married as I thought they were a perfect match but I think in the end Frederich would be better for Jo. Annoying though that Laurie married Amy. Never liked her.
