I searched for this topic because I thought there was already one around, and then I went through ALL 26 pages for a topic for this TV show and found none.
And here we are.
Has anyone seen this show? Usually airing on Nickalodeon Friday night or re-runs weekdays at 4:30 pm (as I've just found out).
I recently rediscovered that I love this show. Probably one of the best shows on Nickalodeon nowadays.
It has beautiful artwork, and the character moments are hilarious. The landscape art is BEAUTIFUL and the plot itself has a lot of deeper points. 
Well, I love this cartoon anyways.

I think it's a great cartoon series.
And I'm not afraid to admit I've been in my bathroom doing karate moves as well.

Omigosh. I am a huge Avatar fan. I thought I was the only one!
I don't like Nickelodeon much at all, but Avatar is a real exception- it's so brilliant!

Do we have favorite characters?  I'm partial to Katara, which is why I tried water-bending in my bathroom. But I love all the benders and I want so much to make myself an Earth Kingdom uniform.

I literally only heard about this yesterday from a dvd website. It sounded so interesting and the screencaps I saw looked lush. I was channel hopping earlier and passed by Nick Toons and it was just ending bah my luck.
Think it might be on YouTube or Daily Motion?

I checked, yep, its available on Daily Motion. I'd be quick though, cos they've been getting rid of full TV programmes of those sites, Fireflys disapeared. _________________ <center>

The season two finale showed just a little while ago here, so we're about to start book three, I think!
Kit, you make me laugh...and since you did, I have to confess that I have tried waterbending in my bathroom, too! *grins sheepishly* I want to make Katara's costume, it looks really comfortable.
I am rather partial to Zuko as a character. Sokka makes me laugh, and as for girls, Katara is my preference. One of my best friends is named Keturah (different spelling, same pronunciation). _________________ I am a Shieldmaiden for Christ!

 I can't believe I'm not the only one! My little brother who's 11 loves that show and I got interested in spite of myself. I've seen most of the episodes by now. It's really good, especially for a kids show nowadays.
I haven't quite progressed to trying waterbending in my bathroom, but it's a cute show, and I'm definitely glad I'm not the only complete geek who thinks so.

Finally got round to watching the very first episode. I'm trouble finding all of the 2nd. But yeah I like this and Katara is just adorable.

Katara is definitely my favorite character, a close second being Zuko.
I haven't tried drawing Avatar fanart, but I'll get around to it. I think it has beautiful artwork, especially for landscapes and the animation is perfect with the Bending.
I want to either be a Water Bender or a Fire Bender.

Waterbender here, but I like watching the Firebending.
I just stayed up late being a dork with Kit and talking Avatar. *grin* What I really wish for is a soundtrack- I read an interview about the instruments they used, and it's fascinating stuff.

LOL. Talking about Avatar is the funnest thing. you should post those youtube links about the types of kung-fu that the different bendings were based off on.
