Has anyone seen it?
I thought it would be really lame, but it was on tonight adn I absolutely loved it.
It's officially my current favorite show, and will be watching the whole season.

No, they aren't showing it over here. although I believe there is a British version planned.
We Brits actually started these series of programmes when the BBC and Andrew Lloyd Webber made the first one How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? which was to find a Mria for the new West End show. It was hugley popular and I really liked it.

Basically it's a talent show, where the producers etc of the Broadway musical Grease are looking for people to play Danny and Sandy for the new production. When they find the chosen number, they sing diffent songs in rounds, and each week the ones with the lowest votes will be voted off. A bit like American Idol.

Yeah, it's pretty much American Idol, where people vote.
Except they don't get chosen to be singers in Hollywood, the "prizze" so to speak, is the role of Danny and Sandy in the Broadway Production of Grease, like JF said.
^But that prize might be as good as a record contract if you want to become an actor/musical singer!
Are they only singing songs from Grease through the audition rounds?
