I am really looking forward to seeing this movie! It looks very interesting.

I must live up to my shiny moderator stars, however, and remind any responders that this topic has the potential to turn into an argument, and we'd rather not have any of that, please.

Yes I am well aware of that. i intend not to participate or in any argumentative statements.


I simply posted it because i thought it was a cool movie and I wanted to see what everyone else thought about it. (After all that is what this part of the forum is for)

I saw an ad for this the other day! I just burst out laughing and started shouting "YES!" :P

I'm really interested in seeing it. Looks really good! And besides, Ben Stein is just awesome. :P

Yeah, ben Stein is a pretty cool character. lol

I'm really looking forward to seeing it in theaters but unfortunately the closest theater I can find around my location is like 200 miles away.... :(

(we live out in the middle of no where... our towns nick name is greese spot)

AWWWWWWW! That's so sad!

Well, if you're lucky, maybe in a few weeks it'll move in to your town, or somewhere nearby. That's what always happens where I live. Because somehow they struggle sending good movies to Montana when they first come out. :P

I was surprised actually though. 'Cuz I looked at their "Theatre Locator" thing and it's supposed to be showing here. YAY! :) Generally with films like these, it takes a while. Ha ha ha ha.

Its about how professors that believe in the Intelligent Design theory have basically been ridiculed, even expelled, for thier theory. I think he's also adressing the fact that nobody really knows how life started.

^Me too. Even if the topic was something I could take seriously, the picture of Stein on the website would have killed it for me. :lol:

I'll be seeing it if my mother makes me go along with the youth group a church, but otherwise, no. :no:

He is a commedian... I think your suposed to laugh at the picture. :)


But each to his/her own.

Basiclly, though, I think this is a good movie for everyone to watch for one main reason.

(as stated above) Manny who believe in inteligent Design get ridiculed, partially because they are not intelectually knowledgable enough to completely defend their possition.

So those who believe in intelegent design can watch and get some evidence to remember.

Those who do not believe can watch and understand where those who do believe are comming from.

I just saw this movie this morning. It was a very good documentary in my opinion. Very well done, and brilliant if you ask me.

I for one believe in Intellegent Design and Creationism, although I can understand why it is so hard for some to believe. ;)
(I really don't want to start an argument though, so if anyone does want to talk about it with me, please PM me. ;))
