<center>On July 9th, 2003, one of the most groundbreaking movies came to theatres - Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. This movie would trigger two others, Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, which would not have been achieved without CotBP becoming so popular. Today we celebrate the movie that started it all.

To honor the movie's release, we will be watching the movie at 7PM (Eastern US Time). Come join us and celebrate the movie magic!</center>

Oh, goodie! I may be able to do this. I'm going to Dallas, but I'll be sure to take my DVD with me, so do sign me up.

CotBP really was the movie that started many things. The completion of my obssession with Orlando Bloom and my introduction into the fanfiction world, amongst many other things. :)

I cannot believe it's been 5 years already. I will hopefully watch them sometime this week in honor but wow....I have been a dedicated Pirates fan for 5 years! W00t!

wow, so many people joining in the celebration! This is awesome! *throws more confetti in honor of CotBP* It's an awesome movie and I'm glad it's still recognized as that! :-D hehe, HUZZAH!

Oh, and I watched it tonight! It just got done several minutes ago actually. :happy: it was as good as ever... especially since I think it's been more than a year since I've seen the whole thing through. :guilty: which I feel bad about, I must say. hehe, but Norrie made me laugh! He rolls his eyes 3 times through the whole thing... and I have to giggle each time. :teehee: not to mention I caught some more lines that I don't think I've ever caught before. :-D

although... I still wish I could get into more of a Pirate-y mood (like you, Ara). :confused: It ish rather a bit of sadness... :erm: but I'm sure I will again someday. My mind has been in a slight confuzzle lately anyway... :blink:

Well, it's been about a year since I've watched it too, maybe longer. And I remember why I love PotC so much now! I'm really glad I'm in a pirate mood at th emoment. :pirate: Aww, Norrie ish love! Did I tell you that I have a stuffed animal - a newt with one eye that I named Norrie? Norrie teh Newt! He's sparkily, too. :drool:
