Honestly, I'm beyond obsessed. I'm absolutely fanatical over this newest 'series' created by that genius, Joss Whedon (most of you know him from Firefly or Buffy the Vampire Slayer.)
So in short, this three-part series follows the story (via 'blog' posts and flashbacks) of supervillian Dr. Horrible... all in musical style! (So lots of sporadic bursting into song.) Dr Horrible is repeatedly hindered from joining the Evil League of Evil by his nemesis, Captain Hammer... and the series follows his attempts it a confusingly comical fashion.
It's humorous. It's tragic. It's romantic. It's ...random. You honestly don't want to miss this. It's worth the purchase from iTunes, I promise. (And there are *cough* less honorable ways of viewing.)
Props to Whedon for making this during the <i>horrible</i> (npi) writer's strike we all remember.

!!! Epic character. At the very end, when we finally see him, I just keeled over. I mean... I guess I was not thinking, but I didn't expect him to, um, be so literal.
