I think 2009 will be a pretty good movie year!

Jurassic Park 4
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0369610/
^ Still, unfortunately, mostly rumors. My fingers are crossed for a huge reunion with the whole team: Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neil, Laura Dern.

Public Enemies (Johnny Depp!)

David Whenham too! And, for Batman Fanatics.. yes... Christian Bale is in it too...

X-men Origins: Wolverine (Dominic Monhagan is in it!)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458525/

The Wolf Man (Hugo Weaving is in it!)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780653/
cool photo album with some on set shots: http://s219.photobucket.com/albums/cc14 ... ter=images

Toy Story 3
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435761/

The Brazilian Job (italian job 2)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0427396/

Nottingham (I think the guy rumored for Robin Hood is quite ugly looking...)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0955308/

2010:

Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1014759/
^ Johnny rumored to be the Mad Hatter. YES!

I'll go with 2009 because I can't think of any off the top of my head that are out in 2010.

- X-Men Origins: Wolverine
- Watchmen (If Fox don't ruin everything for WB with this lawsuit)
- Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
- Dragonball (Don't care what anyone says...I really REALLY want to see this movie)
- The Spirit
- Star Trek [Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana..squeeee!]
- Angels & Demons [hyperventilates]
- Terminator Salvation [double hyperventilates]
- G.I Joe: Rise of Cobra
- Astro Boy
- Gatchaman [so excited for this]

Appaloosa? Comes out this year. I will probably go see that one.

The new Terminator film will probably be interesting. I'll mainly see it for Helena Bonham Carter.

Her role from what I gather isn't a huge one.
I'm more interested in Christian Bale as John Connor.

Hmm... it's probably a bit premature for me to be looking forward to *that* much, as I don't know an awful lot that is coming out.

I'll definitely be watching Toy Story 3 and the new Pixar film Up, which is out in 2009. Disney's The Princess and the Frog is another one I would like to see, as it's back to the standard animation.

The Wolverine film I am excited about and I can't WAIT for Alice in Wonderland. :P

I know. I love her though. I don't quite get the big Christian Bale thing though.

Yes, everything Pixar is worth seeing at least once. ;) I haven't heard much about the Disney movie though. I've been thinking for a while that it's kind of sad that aren't any real standard animation feature films anymore though, so that's pretty cool. I'm not real big on Disney stuff, but I'm glad to hear that.

I'm surprised no one's said Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but I s'pose that brings back angry memories. :p

You're stirring up a hornet's nest there Kit. :P

I'm also going to say The Hobbit - just in case it is out in 2010 (which I'd bet my entire Weta collection it won't be), but that's one of the dates floating round for its release.

I'll bet on The Hobbit as well just because I can. ;) And of course HP... I'm really looking forward to Disney's The Princess and the Frog, but not so much for Toy Story 3. I've never been fond of Disney sequels and I'm afraid they'll completely ruin one of my most favourite animated movies of all time.

Alice in Wonderland sounds wicked though. That'll definitely be on my list of must-sees.

Angels and Demons
For sure, FOR SURE.
So excited.

Alice in Wonderland
Possibly, I'm kind of getting sick of the JD/TB pairings, they keep using one another as a security blanket.

The Hobbit
If it EVER gets made, and actually put onto screens.
But I've been waiting for it since before Fellowship so.

HP: HBP
It looks decent.

X-Men: Wolverine
Definately.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
*squee*
New villians maybe?

Possibly an Iron Man II/S.H.I.E.L.D Movie
That'd be awesome, I love Robery Downey Jr.

None that I'm dying to see.I think its a little ambitious to expect the Hobbit by then *sigh* but i will probably see these:

Terminator 4
Star Trek
Wolverine
Chronicles of Narnia:the Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Jurassic Park 4 (though its not very likely the way things are going)

Can't think of any others.

I wouldn't say Tim and Depp are using each other as "security" blankets. Either one of them could make a movie (and have) without the other and it would still be a success. But they work great together and are close friends in real life.

As for Toy Story, they didn't ruin it with the second one, I doubt the 3rd one will be bad. I wonder what they are going to do for Slinky though, because the man who did his voice died since the second one.

^ I agree about the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp "security blancket" thing. They make great movies away from each other, but when Tim Burton comes up with an idea for a film that is an unsual, not your average Hollywood film, and will actually require someone who is not afraid to dress up weird and actually ACT, why not use Johnny Depp? I somehow doubt George Clooney or Brad Pitt would have been anything other than useless in one of TB's films.

I would walk miles to watch one of their films. If they never made any films expcet when they are together, I would be happy.

Toy Story 2 is not as good as Toy Story. It lacks something that made Toy Story as good as it is. The new characters didn't help either, as there was not one I liked. I only hope Andy's mother sold Jessie and Bullseye so I won't have to put up with them again. And I hope they tone down the moive referance. They were way too obvious. It was more like "Spot the Famous Film Scene" for me.

Aye aye. So would I. It would be pretty amusing to see Pitt or Clooney as Willy Wonka or Sweeney Todd. :P

I liked Toy Story a lot. I do like the first one better, but I thought it was a great sequal. Lots of fun. I read in the third one they get dropped off at a Preschool because Andy is going to college.

I completely forgot about Chronicles of Narnia! I'm not too fond of the recent adaptation of Prince Caspian, but I'm willing to give them another chance. It is Disney after all. ;) Tranformers should be good as well. The first one really blew my socks off, and I'm not that into action movies. :P
